if ohio state was smart they would hit the freshman qb hard and a little late, if they take a 15 yard penalty it will be worth it. get him a little rattled and see how the horseshoe will treat him. he is in for surprise in ohio. i know it is wrong to say this but i think if osu has to do this to have a chance in this game, keep bettin usc and i will take osu 10 min til kickoff

Take the athletes and USC, this game could be ugly. I think the Navy game helps Ohio St. but they are not in same class at any of the skilled positions.

I wanna take USC big but it was 3-0 san jose st for the first quarter and a half last saturday. They can be rusty, and matt barkley hasnt played in a place like the shoe yet.

Usc seems like easy money. However, there is no such thing. Very little can be determined by opening week games. I would say the history probably favors the team that has been getting pounded in big games to be more motivated. If I had to pick side it would definitely be OSU with the points. It is probably going to be middle heaven for a lot of smart gamblers! They got in early and will get in late when the line is inflated.

Ohio State got caught looking ahead to this game. Service academies historically give out-of-conference teams nightmares. Unique system = confused opposition.

I remember a better Longhorn team squeaked out a win, even with V Young a QB. Add Oklahoma year before. Hard place to win.

But USC runs a cookie cutter offense (Pro Style). The only teams that can run it is USC/TX/FLA. Your players have to be superior at all levels, since the pro style offers no unique challenges. College teams dont have much time to prepare, so thats why unique offenses are popular.

Result: Too close to call. Ohio State defense will play out of their mind at home. Huge game for a team(USC) with a new QB.
