You are true square if you play the Steelers today.
Unless the line takes a dive which it wont the play can only be Baltimore at +10.5 +$.
I got guys calling me this morning loving the Steelers with the number well above 10. Ill take as much steeler money as I can today. If I can find a 13 by game time I will play Balt HUGE.
Anyone else backing the birds today?

Steelers -6.5 for first half if you must play it IMO.

Brick is probably right. It looks like Pitt backers have missed the boat. Although, we could see 10s again today.

I see +13 at MVP, hell it may be higher by kickoff.

I got in early in the week at -9. I see the point Brick is making, and I don't necessarily disagree with him as a rule. However, this is Baltimore....with Anthony Wright at QB. If I'm the Steeler's D coordinator I play the run and let my secondary play man coverage and send lots of blitzes, especially in obvious passing situations (which I expect the Ravens to have plenty of). I just think it will be very hard for the Ravens to score anything more than field goals and the the Steelers can manage to put up 21 or so by the end of the game.
Of course, I could be wrong, like I was THREE times Saturday

A recipe for disaster
The following ingredients are needed for the preparation of the recipe for disaster :
Ingredient # 1 :
Baltimore is a fundamentally bad football team.
Ingredient # 2 :
The team is riddled with injuries missing key players in both defense and offense.
Ingredient # 3 :
The team is playing hot Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh.
Preparation :
Mix all the ingredients at low temperature and you just got yourself a Molotov cocktail that will blow up in the face of the Ravens tonight.

Ingredient 3 is the good news for Ravens backers - the Steelers are a much better road team than home team for whatever reason. I agree with the thread title, though not in regards to those who played the game early in the week (but I would recommend trying to middle the game, at least somewhat). I'm not going to go nuts betting the Ravens here though, if I do at all. I just feel like the Steelers -11+ is unplayable.

Run the game over a million times in your mind...dont make a bit of difference. The bookmakers are smarter than players. If I had a dime for every time a player said, I Dont care about the half point. I cant see them scoring on..... Id be rich. Wait...I do get a dime for everytime they say that! hehe

I thnk middlin after the line changes is dumb. If you did this you would be middlin all the good odds you had away and be stuck with all the shatty odds you played. youd end up with all your bets on shit odds.
I agree that the steelers are just unplayable at these odds. That was bascially my point. I was trying to be entertaining.

Couldn't of said it better. I hit Pitt ealry at -9.5, but if that # soars to 14 or more I'll middle it.Apple
