    Default Tonights game

Are the Steelers good enough to cover 11 odd points tonight against Baltimore?

By all rights, especially at home they should thump them - No?

    1. No Ray Lewis or Ed Reed for Baltimore
    1. Baltimore's offense is absolutely horrible and the Steeler's D is good
    3. The game is in Pittsburgh
    4. Bettis and Parker sharing the running load
    5. Big Ben may only throw 20 passes a game, but when he does throw he finds open receivers and doesn't make many mistakes

I got in early at -9 but I'd still take this at -11.

Not a very good matchup for Mon. night or a good game to take a position on ... Everything points towards Pittsburgh ... In cases like this be careful ... Bodog has this game at 12 right now.

Agreed. Despite the reasons I gave and any others that can be given we have no clue how this game will truly be played out. I suppose that's why it's called "gambling".

Tricky game altogether here. Not really sure...may just pass or look at the total.

Baltimore is really really bad....they put up 6 pts against Chic and were never really close to getting in the endzone. But their defense make keep them in the ball game. May just throw a few bucks on the BAL ML and hope for a huge upset.

Good luck guys on whatever you have.

Bill Cowher is like 10-0 on MNF but, winniing the game and covering the spread are two different things here.

i still have to cap this game in more detail but, i'm leaning twords baltimore in this game tonight.

Baltimore hasn't done much all season. Limiting the Jets and the Browns to a field goal is their main highlight so far but I was expecting those same results against stronger opposition. Instead, they gave up 35 and 25 points to the Lions and the Titans, both games on the road... and not exactly the stronger opposition I meant. With 2-3 scores a game, they'd have to limit Pittsburgh to 20-23 points. But considering that this has been Pitt's avg in the last 5 games, I'll pass.

In fairness, they imploded mentally against the Lions, which is ironic since the Lions have patented self-implosion. Still, a good point and their D, especially with two key players out, may not be as good as advertised.

    Lol. That's funny.

I want Baltimore plus the points and believe that is the smart play.

But if Pittsburgh could ever win that puppy by exactly 12, I will be the happiest girl in the whole USA.

I teased Pitt. down to 7 and the over down to 29 ... This game needed a little shaving.

Am I the only one feeling less than confident about the Balt pick? I even bought a point to 14. Can't wait for half time, lol

Well, Anthony Wright just threw the worst pass ever (supposedly "intended" for Mason), and then the Ravens earned a penalty call, which has become their calling card. BTW, I have Heath Miller in my fantasy league

Since that first drive, the Ravens D has been solid. And as I'm writing this, pick. Hell Yeah.

Absolutely, Razz. Looked like it was going to be a long night for the Ravens D but, ever since that 1st drive, they've been playing toe to toe with the receivers, giving Roethlisberger nothing.
