I don't care for NFL or NBA...i like MLB a lot and NCAAB, NCAAF especially....
Based on that info, which should I get?
Thanks...

well do you like MLB more than Ncaaf , MLB on XM Ncaaf on Sirius.

I like betting NCAAF the most, NCAAB second...and I don't really care to bet MLB much besides maybe if i go to a game or not or if I am kind of bored.
The idea is that I love listening to baseball on the radio but the summer's are nice and I'd like to be out doing stuff like exercising, walking the dog, etc....
What do you think?

The one thing that I happen to hate about both these units is the time delays they have. From what i've heard the time delays can be avoided on the older XM units 2004 and prior. Heres what some people are claiming you can do this to get around the time delays:
Subscribe, then unsubscribe.... LEAVE unit off for 90 days. After that turn back on, you will have XM radio free of charge with no delay.
*Please note*... This is only what i've heard so proceed with caution.![]()

Get DirectTV for your TV provider. DTV will give you XM Radio (personally I dont like the music programming on XM). Then, get Sirius as your actual satellite radio. Then you can listen with your radio or streaming over the internet. I have both, and I like Sirius much better.

I don't have time to watch TV.....most games i bet on I keep up with them on the internet.
Okay...i think I am going to go with XM b/c of MLB and the college games. I'll need to do more research though.

Music wise Sirius is the best, but the MLB from XM is a great plus. Look into the portable units. They really come in handy during the summer months.

I've heard both have good selections for college football and college basketball games...

I've got SIRIUS and the NFL channel (124) is where I spend most of my time. Lots of player and coach interviews, no BS like when you listen to Jim Rome or Dan Patrick. Plus, all of the NFL games are broadcast, both home and away, so you actually get two broadcasts for each game, 3 broadcasts if it's a national game like tonight. Kinda neat to toggle between the games and get the different takes on the same play.
Last year I noticed NCAAB was covered pretty well, especially later in the season. All of the NBA games are carried, but I am boycotting the NBA this season. I might just check in for score updates if I've got money on the games.
I've been kinda disappointed in the NCAAF games this year. Seems like whenever I check, the game I want to follow isn't on. Even the UMass-App ST game wasn't carried. It was the friggin Div 2 championship.
The time delay does suck. I've tried watching the NFL on TV, if I don't like the commentary crew, while listening to SIRIUS and the time delay just makes it too maddening.
The Music on SIRIUS is ok, but I don't know how it compares to XM. Howard Stern is usually interesting, even if the potty humor & strippers can wear thin at times.

I wish they would make a portable unit that receives both Sirus and XM. So you have the best of both worlds on one unit, and not two.
