B-U-T, he'll be fine in a few weeks, doubt his draft status is hurt yet, I don't see him as much on an NFL qb anyways though.... just like Jason White

Bradford and Jason White are totally different arch. Bradford will make the NFL, but how long will he last is in question. Maybe will be like Matt Ryan or bust like Akex Smith

Insurance is not the same as signing a 5 year $65 million contract

no its not the same but anyone with 1/2 a brain could live the rest of their life comfortably off of 5-6 million

I bet some guys are scared of the NFL..... its so fast, big and scary these days

I do wanna know the terms of bradford's insurance policy...

remember when willis mcgehee had his knee all fuked up in the big national title game, and he HAD insurance, but he chose not to take it and try to make a comeback...... That made me titilated

He'll be fine draft wise. It's a just sprain...not like he tore a labrum or labia or whatever its called

It's easy to say that now that he is hurt but honestly he just wanted a national championship. He was so close last year and he thought he had a good chance of returning again this year...It is hurting him now and he might be regretting it now, but in all honesty he made the right decision.

After Tebow won the heisman no one said he was wrong for not going into the draft...now if he would have gotten hurt like bradford, it would have been "He should have gone pro" "He hurt his status" etc etc

All he wanted was that N.C. Too bad though. Gators vs Texas!!!! Gators win of course

how highly touted was the backup out of HS? was he a rivals 5,4,3 star?

Same thing happened to Anthony Poindexter of UVA. You've probably never heard of him, most people haven't. He was voted the ACC Defensive Player of the Decade for the 1990's by the Associated Press. Best saftey I ever saw play. Would have been another Ronny Lott. Kind of guy you didn't have to see when he made a tackle in the stadium.... you heard it and you knew who it was. Sure fire 1st round pick after his junior season. Decided to come back and play his senior year in 1998. Had a horrible leg injury in like the 5th game....tore 3 ligaments in his knee.

The difference is Poindexter had insurance but did like McGahee and tried to come back. Drafted in the 7th round by Baltimore and once he signed a contract the policy was nulled. He kicked around for a couple years but was never the same. His knee was ruined. He's now the DB coach for UVA where he has been on staff for a bout 3 years. Sad story but a great guy.

what happened was he listened to bob stoopid too much. even though florida, usc and texas were returning much better offensive squads, stoops convinced him that oklahoma wouldnt miss a beat. brainwashed another kid and might have cost him millions. horrible comparison whoever said bradford and white had similar games.

i was thinking this same thing when i heard he wasnt going to be in the draft and thinking that this or even a bad season would cost him millions, what a fool, but same could be said for tebow if he fukks up..

Tebow wasn't going top 10 or even top 20 most likely, Bradford likely would've been #1 overall, so it is a little different. I'm sure Bradford's decision was tougher for him to make, but ultimately he wanted to win that National Championship.

Bradford was not going number 1 last year. He will probably go higher this year.

Bradford surely wouldve went over Stafford

No way in hell would Bradford have gone ahead of Stafford. Arm strength is no comparison. Stafford is Elway like, Bradford is Chad Pennigton like.

Stafford will be the next Alex Smith or Ryan Leif. I was hoping the Lions would have piked up Vick

Bradford will be fine. He probably will still go top 10. McCoy or Tebow will take Heisman now. It does make Sanchez look like a genius for not listening to Pete Caroll.

This injury, slight or major, hurts his stock regardless. Makes McCoy the #1 qb
