FH, I agree, they are awful. Poor at QB, and lost HC/OC/DC....

How good could they possibly be? Long season in store for Bucs fans....

They have a fair amount of talent all around and should win more than 3 games. I say they win 5 or 6. QB is really the only thing they are missing from last year other than Kiffin.

    1. QB is a pretty big hole to fill. Don't underestimate quality QB impact on a team.
    2. They lost a lot more than Kiffin. Say what you will about Gruden, but he wins.
    3. They completely gutted the veteran leadership and talent on this team.

There's no good way to put a shine on this turd in terms of personnel. This team is rebuilding, period. Worse yet, they are facing one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. The only way this team picks up wins might be late in the year facing down-sliding teams.

Regarding 3 wins, I'll say that they can do it. 3 wins isn't much, the way the league is designed. The NFL builds parity into the system more than any other league. Plus, organic factors such as injuries can even the playing field for bad teams. The NFL is an 8-8 league and a team has to be terrible AND have bad luck to do worse than 4 wins. Things could break well for the Bucs and they could get 5 or 6 wins in their best case scenario. But if things go badly, we might see another 0-16.

They certainly seem to be an organization in chaos. They do have decent running back depth so if they pound the ball and play good defense could win a few games against equal opponents.

With the Lions having gone 0-16 last year, Tampa Bay will have nothing to play for, as their place in history has been taken.

Question is, who do they draft with that first pick?

Yeah this generalization works well, just look at the Steeler's coach, 3rd year and already a ring.

Bucs are gonna surprise a lot of people this year

Looking at the Sched, you can hardly make the case for a win for even 1 spot. They are in a freaky division that doesn't ever pan out like people think. I say they win 2 divisional games, and surprise 2 other teams at home like the Jets, and Green Bay for a total of 4 wins.

Have you looked @ their schedule.... I don't see more than 2 games max where they "might" be favored or even money.

Lions will be worse. They have decided to go with Staffag instead of Culppeper

tampa bay is 7-3-1 ATS the last 11 times they’ve been a home ‘dog. Tampa Bay is averaging 2.4 more home wins than road wins over the last five seasons. tampa is +6 against dallas... hmmmm

I knew the Buccaneers when they went 0-14 and lost 26 games in a row.

They will be almost as bad this year. And no, Paco, they won't be better than the Lions.

Rams are underrated. At least they've got a great QB in Bulger, yes he is legit. They've got plenty of pieces on offense & defense. With a new coach & new attitude, I like this team which has been snakebit by injuries in recent history. Plus the Rams will have a relatively easy schedule in one of the weakest NFL divisions.

Where do you live? I bleed blue and gold baby. This team has a legit chance at winning the west.

Did someone just say Bulger is "LEGIT"?
If you think he's even in the top 1/2 of signal callers in the NFL you are sadly mistaken.

They will easily win 3 games. Although, 5-6 maybe the roof. The Bucs play tough at home which shoud get them 3 wins right there. Winnable games: vs Cowboys, @ Bills, @ Redskins, @ Dolphins, vs Jets, and not to mention they probably pick up atleast 2, in the division, probably 3. The Falcons, Saints, and Panthers don't really look unbeatable.
