Nobody here can do Bill's job. I'm not kissing his ass here at all. Lets face facts coach there just isn't.

BTW, Dozer is already buried with paperwork among other things.

I don't know if anything has changed organizationally since my most recent mod stint - which ended, oh, 3-4 months ago - but Willie Bee is a good man for his job (and in general).

He had ratbags (myself included) yapping at him from all directions all the time. He was always stuck in the middle. He couldn't win; no matter he decided, there was always going to be some spoiled brat crying his eyes out.

Meanwhile he was and still is a great example of how to post with knowledge, humor and courtesy.

    Good post Mud.

Except for Bill, I think Ganch could do any of our jobs better. Maybe I better start watching over my shoulder too.

I would need to see where JJ ranks you. I think you were #67 in the last poster rating book for Q3. And then I have to check with VIP.

Anybody who requests a moderator position should automatically discounted from being a moderator. Having said that, BuddyBear, I'd rank just behind AK in the "next moderator" rankings so hang in there, you might just accomplish your dream one day.

Come on taco, ranking BB next to AK is just flat out cold. I may not agree with BB all of the time but ranking him next to AK???

Moderators are failed bettors basically that could not cut it in the real world of sports betting. Secondly its a chance for them to play God with other posts. They like that stuff.

Moderators usually are divorced and frustrated in life that things did not go there way. The money they get is to feed their gambling addictions and of course settle scores with posters they do not like..

I know the inner workings of forms better than anyone and know the politics that surround them. I have held every position possible at forums and liked none of them or the people that run them.

Moderators are kind of like run down hookers and fantasize about owning a book. Its not all glorious, I spend many nights talking with Mickey and Spiro and they hate it and the long hours it requires.

If you want to be mod I would think twice you start to become hated also by posters. I guess it is kind of a club for them.

Fishhead is ok if Sober, that clown won a million dollars playing slots in Vegas. He said they are beatable.

Fishhead half of the time does not know if it is raining or snowing out, he is always lit.

Big Boy Dan is not a mod by the way, for some odd reason he just wants the status of being one.

    He is a strange man.

Yeh I banned many when I was there.

Hey compactor I almost slept with Rusty once when we were in Toronto working on a project together, things almost got out of hand but I put a stop to it quick.

Don't think too highly of yourself Tacomax....you are one of, if not, the least respected posters on here. Even if i were offered a mod position I wouldn't accept it b/c that would be a way of silencing me and that's not something I would accept. On second thought, I would accept it and then ban you and the resign having made the forum a better place.

cd - yes. 1099's actually for those with a US address.

Buddy you can always speak your mind here as do the mods. I have faith that those that read here will be able to tell the facts from the conspiracy fiction.

To further that point have we ever removed a post about one of the top books or sponsors? Or any book for that matter?

Its healthy that books are talked about and that some posters speculate on SBR's motives. We are in it long term. There were many conspiracy theories pre-Buddy, chano, ect., that have long since been dispelled and now forgotten. Its a healthy process.
