Coach, how much money do these big sites make?
Coach,
What do your sources tell you? I mean I saw russ's Lamborginni that he proudly displayed and hear the Rx guys live in giant mansions which is great (fvckers!). But what do those big sites earn?

I guess we start with a place like RX. In Kenny's prime he was making about 300 Dimes a year with advertising and kickbacks and siome small affiliate money's.
The Major makes around 175,000 a year with the site but lots of his money is family money. Years ago he was barreled in from betting horses in Vegas and I can assure you he has no clue on how to bet. His cars are all leases so its a mirage and an image he has. The HAWK IS BASICALLY A GOOD GUY BUT A REAL HAMBURGER, what I mean by that is a Newark term that guys that are smart and goofy. The Hawk watches every buck he has and he squeezes the fukkin nickle heads
Peep's site breaks about even and he might grind out a few bucks here and there. He lost 2 bowling alleys due to gambling and made a lot of money selling guns back in the day. A good guy and a great gambling poster.
Sites like Ultimate Capper and Madjacks makle a living with lots of picks traffic.
SBR probably has the most books that want to advertise with them. I have been told almost every book in the world wants in due to so many new hits to the site. I would say right now SBR makes around 425,00K a year with ads and affiliates as he has shown the way for so many new post up players that are new to the game and trust his ratings. Many newbies come to SBR for advice which is a good thing.
Covers makes huge money due to great stat content and the selling of that content. I would say around 500k a year.
A new leader is emerging in the stat game and it is called statfox as it will overtake Covers as many vendors are choosing statfox and not covers as their provider due to better content. I think statfox looks ahead to the future more than covers and aggressivley gives websites free content to market their product.

Good stuff JJ! Hamburger? Goofy and smart? LOL
Covers is REAL pricy to advertise on. I'm with Clip on Covers, those guys are raking.
I agree on your take about Statfox. We send them a chunk of cash every year for SBRLines. I like those guys, they work hard and make smart moves.

Thanks coach. I knew I could could count on you for a good break down.
I wonder if EOG will be the big winner in the portal sweepstakes this year? I know your not a big fan but well, he seems to have a good business model(wonder where he got that?).

EOG will be a run in the mill site. Kenny is washed up offshore as too many books caught onto his game. I bet he extorts some books and makes a few bucks but that is it and site will fade as it will be the same 5 guys and his 25 ghosts posting.
SBR many have told me your the site now that will go to the next level. I definately see sites merging down the road.
The big boys will swallow up the little ones.
Just like DB is on the decline...market forcing them out as not many other than books are going to pay $550 a month when you can get same data for free

That guy who posts at stings site, I think his handle is the Insider who works in Costa Rica estimated SBR's sales at $50k per yr. MF'er!!!
My 1999 Buick LeSabre has 91k miles on it and I thought with the new line service I might be able to get a new one. Then we get the delay from the tech burritos in Costa Rica, then someone sends me a pic of russ's (majorwager) $200k 2006 Lamborginni and I'm thinking WTF? They always seem to have their foot on the working man, right on my throat and they ain't letting off.

You know RPM, Alexa is horrible for tracking forums. Its not bad for tracking simple urls. For example TOWForum had 18k and SBRForum had 12k but those numbers are right on the edge of meaningless. I'd love to celerbrate with you but they just dont mean anything on forums. Track the main url, that will give you a truer picture.

$50k isn't far off. Old Toe Jam cant be making that much and isnt far off from SBR.
I mean if the only talent SBR can afford is JJ then their pockets are only deep enough for a slurpy. JJ does john let you Super Size? He must with all the ass kissing you been doing.

I guess I like the trend of those charts. Wonder why theRx and MW took a nose dive in 04?
We will run down mw in a month or two and maybe catch the Rx by the end of the year.
Its all for fun anyway. We were always that little review site wayyy down yonder and still are, and still having a great time :105084828 .

Pay per click. SBR probably never did any pay per click, and thats why they were not affected.
What major marketing change is SBR going to do to get those numbers up in 2 months? you would have to have an over 50% increase.

why do you say that john? with tow, the forum is a totally seperate url. that is a much better indicator than the mainpage. users hit towforum average of 35 pages today. the mainpage didnt get 35 per user....

So what does that mean, TOW got 6 visitors this week?
I wonder if TOW's increase has anything to do with the banner on the home page of SBR? DUH!! Of course it has doubled. If he wrote his web address in the bathroom stall at a deserted drive in his traffic would double too.
And whats up with him advertising on SBR anyway? Is that Roberto's his way of saying "Hey ,Look how well I can copy"?

50%? Oh well, maybe not. Sounded good for a second.
I was hoping our new lines could help but the burrito eating tech team can't sabe anything except mas dinero.
We have banners in a few spots but its all about word of mouth. We didnt advertise hardly at all in 04 (didnt know where)and just now for 05. Heck, I dont think there is any good places that will take us, covers thinks we are competition and said no. So we got the 2nd tier capping sites like SharpSportsBetting.com and a few like that.
