Default When Is The Closing Date For Neteller?

I think they said Americans will not be able to use after the 270 day bill period passes.

    When is the actual date?

They are not going to say anything about a date of stopping service until the day they stop serving U.S. customers, if at all. We'll likely hear about it once it happens, not before.

I'll bet the response will be something like "we are reviewing the situation and will continue to serve US customers. Thank you for contacting Neteller."

Neteller never said they were no longer going to allow US players. However, this is not to say they will not say it sometime in the future.

JJ, can you handle that math?

The answer to your question is 270 days from October 13.

No where in that statement does Neteller say they will leave the US market.

They say that will comply with the law. And, they say that they do not know what that actually means.

From my reading of the act/law, I don't see how the law even impacts Neteller. The law prevents US banks from transacting with gambling sites. Neteller is neither a US bank nor a gambling site. So US banks should be able to continue transacting with Neteller and Neteller can transact with the gambling sites.

We should make it through hoops season before they slam the doors on us U.S. players. However, as a few poster have mentioned above there will be other options left for us.

the SBR staff has been working on the payment processor review ratings system to make the transition time go smooth for everyone

Pretty good source Neteller will refund USA customers right around then, no way they want any legal issues with usa gov't. They do to well to ruin it.

I don't see that happening at all coach. With March madness being about as big as the superbowl, I feel Neteller will definitely take full advantage of this business opportunity knowing good and well they are screwed come July.

Neteller will enjoy it while they can.

I'm curious to know how many employees are going to be fired there when the shit hits the fan?

I got an answer from Neteller today. they said the same thing as David's post.

"I cannot provide you any more information in regards to NETELLER's position in light of the new US legislation than what is available on the Investor Relations section of the NETELLER website. Please review that area of the website periodically for further updates in regards to NETELLER's position. Official updates are made to the Investor Relations page as they become available."
