The Problem:

Does the "No Rake" promotion at World Poker Exchange sound too good to be true? Thats because it is, they don't take any rake but they are making a very large profit in other ways. They use pokerbots to play against the human players on the tables. While pokerbots are not unbeatable they are nearly impossible to beat on the long term because WPX programs them with everyone's hand histories.

This is not only illegal but it is also highly unethical. There is noone to shut them down because they are located on a tiny island called Antigua which is notorious for corruption and scandals. There have been other poker rooms from Antigua to do this but after they were exposed they shut down soon after. When they do shut down there is never enough money to pay all the withdrawals so I recommend cashing out as soon as possible.

If you do not believe any of this feel free to keep playing. This one website is not going to shut them down and that is not my intention. I created this site only to warn other poker players that have fallen to the "No Rake" scam. Well i hope you see the truth in this and stop playing there but if not good luck against the PokerBots. I have read several posts from trusted posters at some of the poker related forums that i read, that seem to have strong evidence that bots play on the site. (If bots do play at the site, its not obvious they are house bots.)


With the aces promo they run, it makes it hard to understand how they can offer the site without going broke. How much extra money can they make from sportsbook?

Its hard to tell for sure as there is a very real reason for affiliates to slam the site.

WSEX definately has bots as do most poker houses. I would not play online poker if you payed me, sucker game and rigged. Secondly Bots are very effective at small poker houses like WSEX.

I would stay away.

I highly doubt WSEX is running their own bots, that is not like them at all.

That said a good friend of mine won't play at the site because he has seen a lot of strange hands and results. Personally, I don't put too much weight behind personal accounts like that.

ONLINE POKER IN GENERAL : I realize you will see more hands per/hr online than live gms but I've seen more BIG hands beaten by bigger hands online than ever compared to live games. Of course this is anecdotal evidence of my personal experience.
