Default South Carolina at North Carolina State (-4)

Anybody have a feel on this game? Only thing I thought of was teasing USC to +10.5. South Carolina is pretty terrible offensively while NC State has it all offensively (for the most part). Defensively, I think NC State should be better this year with 7 returning starters and another year under Tom O'Brien. South Carolina's will be good as well but I think its a push at worst for NC State

questions about NC State? They seem pretty solid to me, at least offensively. Biggest question mark is Garcia (USC QB) to me

in that case I'd go with State.
no way in hell my money gonna be resting on Garcia's shoulders....
    but stranger things have happened.
Spurrier might pull out some super duper special trick plays out his ass, you never know

NC State ML seems like the safe play to me. I like them to win by far but not sure by over 3

under? Wilson from NC State is a solid QB with a lot of weapons. 2 solid defenses though

Amazing how one year makes such a difference. This line would be reversed. Its tough call, no lean

South Carolina lost on the road last year at Vandy to open the season I believe (Thursday night game on ESPN IIRC)

where was that game? South Carolina flopped last year IMO and probably won't get any better this year unless Garcia becomes God. I LOVE Wilson (QB) from NC State and he has a lot of talent around him.

exactly, thought that was the first week. It was a weeknight game though

another interesting observation I made was that South Carolina plays AT GEORGIA next week. Not sure that would qualify as a sandwich game though.

They play a big rival UGA away the following week. Ouch

South Carolina also lost its leading rusher (a guy with 500 yards and 3 TD's?) and leading receiver (McKinley). Will USC have any type of running game? If not, they're relying on a headcase (talented one but a lunatic) on the road in a prime-time game.

Not really a sandwich game. If these are two teams that are even on defense, I would be cautious in putting so much confidence in NCSTATE. Spurrier plays with no reservations. Could be interesting.

Sounds like a sucker play. Televised game, Spurrier Stanky Stanky Stanky

yeah but NC State should be light years better than USC. USC lost its entire running game (it sucked last year) and its best WR. NC State has Wilson back at QB who is a dual threat (17 TD and 1 INT). They lost a lot in the running game as well, but they return basically everybody from the passing game

South Carolina will be better than people think. But I think this will go under

Wilson seriously is a hellofa QB, especially since he was a freshman. If he can stay healthy, he will turn some heads down the road. I'm on NCST for a bit.

He turned heads last year. The problem this year is the lines wont favor NC State like last year. This was the moneymaking team last year along with WSU. They were great against the spread catching double digits againt ACC opponents. Not this year
