Default Thanks Bill and VIP - honoring my glitched bet

Despite some poor communication and a long wait, I am happy to say that after reviewing the situation of a software glitch causing me to receive the wrong bet, VIP was able to confirm my activity and decided to honor my bet! They required a 3x total rollover, but I am willing to accommodate them because they accommodated me by giving the issue due course (thanks to Bill).

For the description: VIP gave me bet on wrong game, do I have any recourse? and Update (or lack of one) regarding my VIP wrong bet dispute (with pics)

Apparently they have changed their T&C to protect themselves in this situation in the future, and hopefully in the future they will attempt to fix the software to avoid glitches like these altogether. Regardless, it was big of VIP to not apply their rules liberally to protect themselves. Instead, they took the initiative (thanks to Bill's representation) to look into the issue fully and confirm that I did intend to place the winning bet instead of the losing one.

I'm still undecided whether I will continue to bet there after I clear my WR with the stories I've heard on here lately and the way I was treated by front-office customer service. However, I am thrilled that they were able to isolate my situation and honor my bet.

    Thanks Bill!

    Good job Bill.

It does seem like VIP has lost some vip'ish since going private. Hopefully they can focus in on the area they had been so good at for a long time; customer service. These kind of issues should not happen in the first place with the A+ group.

    That is beautiful!
I must say that as I do not like some decisions of VIP (esp. the spamming bonus emails, that they never gave to players), this is good.
It is obvious that posting and bumping such issues has results.
Enjoy the money, you deserve it for the fight!

That's good news. I remember when you posted about that glitch and it was a very strange case.

Glad things got settled in your favor knicknut.

    Props to Bill and VIP.

Extra thanks to you, Lucas. If you hadn't been the first to recognize my problem and restate it more clearly, I don't know if I would have ever gotten this far.

Good job SBR and well done knicknut, you got out of jail on that one. Say what you want about VIP, but a lesser book wouldn't have done this - heck even I thought the book didn't have an obligation to pay so kudos to VIP.

As I am a bit cynical about VIP could you confirm that you havent had your limits cut as meeting the rollover will take years at $50 a bet.

Default This speaks very well of VIP

I am impressed that VIP ruled in favor of the player on this one. This was a grey area in my opinion, and they did not have to do this. SBR obviously did a great job representing this player. VIP's rating at SBR means something to them, and they are motivated to keep that rating.

I just had my limits cut to $200. Fortunately I finished my WR last week. The fact that I've been on a crazy hot streak (there, not overall) might have had something to do with it. Oh well, at least I finished my WR. I didn't expect them to let me
