I tried to make a deposit at Mansion and was informed since I had reached an allotted amount for the month I would now be charged approx 2.9% for a DEPOSIT!...When I went to empty my account I was informed of the same thing for a withdrawal!!!>..When did all this happen??? This place has been deteriorating fast!

About time they put some restrictions on withdrawals. It's people like you who has ruined it for everybody else. The deposit limit sucks but one just gotta live with it. If people hadn't abused their generous policies this might never have happened.

Is the listed deposit limit of GBP 20,000 per month or per transaction?

A little of pot calling the kettle... That's like blaming bonus hunters for ruining the bonuses for players who actually gamble. Mansion offered free payouts so of course players are going to limit their exposure when they can.

Mansion has never had a consistent policy. From who gets charged the fees in the exchange, going from 50k free payouts to charging on deposits, to serve by phone or not, to parlays odds, to limits etc. But, it's usually Christmas for someone.

I can see limiting wd's, but not deposits. If I guy deposited and put in some bets, and lost the 20k GBP, he should be able to re-up free.

Mansion is pretty dead, I put up the best offer on something, price it 4 cents better than Pinny, and it often doesn't fill, or just partially in chunks of $3, $10, $20.

I think they may quit soon.

Maybe they might, but who knows?

But it has nothing to do with this decision. If people are depositing money, withdrawing it and then re-depositing it ad nauseum then that has huge costs on a sportsbook. They make money from the VIG but having such a liberal withdrawal/deposit policy negates any money they're making.

They may well quit the US Scene, I've had lots of soccer offers being taken lately, higher than ever, so doubt they quit in general.

    bboots,

Do they let you know about the charge before you proceed with the deposit?

    Cheers

They event told people, if you aren't comfortable keeping such a large balance withdrawal every day. It was just another way they could burn through money without ever seeming to care about actual businesss practicesl. I think the end it near for them at least with the US market; why bother.

Yes, they tell you before you do it. 20 Deposits/ 5 withdrawals monthly is still excellent, but there is no reason to cap deposits, after all a guy could lose big in a day, then not re-up because of fees.
