Is it normal for your local guy to make you wait until Friday to place Sunday NFL??
I certainly understand that they can't open up lines as early as Pinnacle, but it's a little annoying sometimes when I can't put a few of my strongest leans in on Wednesday/Thursday if I think I've got a good feel for which way a line will move.
Is Friday evening pretty much standard with local guys?

consider yourself lucky that you get to put it in two days early .....cause most locals just take action on game day
You need a bigger local or one who is 'full time' -- Friday is a bit late.

I guess it all depends on what type of local your using. The smaller ones won't give you those lines til sunday morning, while some other ones that do it for a living give them out on Monday afternoon. The same thing applies with college games as well with the acception of Thursday night games.

God damn it!
Case in point:
NYG/Car line comes out at NYG +3, which is a play I wanted to make last night.
Now Delhomme is "questionable" (which is bullsh1t, he'll play) so the line is offline. By the time I get a chance to play it Friday night, it'll probably be closer to pk.
Looks like I need to find a new local guy or ask mine if he'll let me get down earlier (slim chance after what I did to him last weekend).
Why not just bet it at pinnacle -- though it's offline now.
I probably will again next year. This is somewhat embarrassing to admit, but I started using the local guy to break myself of the habit of playing parlays and teasers. It's amazing, 6 weeks of straight bets only now and I'm about as profitable as I've ever been in a 6-week period. And I've been paying -110 the whole time.Originally Posted by durito

Nothing as easy as the Jets last week.
Probably a couple 4x bets this week (NYG +3 was looking great damn it), a couple 2x, and a couple 1x. Another good-looking card imho.
That figure is 4.63% too low.
