Default betWSC - Anyone Have Contact w/Them as Recently as Fri 12/1?

In the midst of everything which was happening over there last week, I was able to get paid on Thursday, practically instantaneously, while on the phone with them.

I called back on Friday to request more but couldnt get through. The same goes for sat/sun. My login into the imptek site was working fine as well but I can no longer even access my account.

Does anyone have any new info and/or alternate phone numbers? How about their NT merchant code? I realize its a shot in the dark but perhaps if I put in a request they will release the funds if available.

Thanks.

Doc,

That seems to be the case for everyone. The new mystery operators looked like they were set up to take it over but disappeared on day 2. Maybe they underestimated the run on the bank after the site change. I think the WSC phones were routed to CR.

WhoIs number is busy...

We don't. You may want to try Neteller if you have not already. Someone sent a LiveChat from last week saying they would be working on opening up the new WSC today. Hopefully something will develope in the next few days. Very odd.

Hi Bill,

I replied to your e-mail. It ticks me off to no end that some players were paid their full balances by NETeller when they didn't even ask for it, and others (like me) were just ignored and stiffed. I don't get it......

And BTW, NETeller will not give out merchant codes (I tried the VIP phone #), they said it's "PRIVATE INFO" that the merchant would have to give you, LMAO. I reported them as a stiff.

I hear ya Drj. This is a lousy situation and shows why the Kahnawake label doesn't mean anything except that you can probably speak to someone whose first language is English.

Bill, I have a few ideas for you. After speaking with WSC management Thursday night, I have learned some troubling facts.

I was told judgement was brought down on them without any warning. Servers were turned off Thursday at 7pm with total dissregard for all online players. This means the Khanawake gaming commission does not care how many players find themselves in the dark.

How does anyone just switch off servers when 1000's of players have not recovered their money. This seems like a preassure tactic by the Canadian Government that suceeded. This would mean that the commission can make this kind of judgement on any Company on the reserve, at any time. In other words fukk all the players to avoid critisism by the Government.

If I ran a real watchdog site I would boycott all Khanawake gaming sites until this issue was resolved. All players can conact the commission and complain. I would suggest you get signatures from all your surfers and harass the commission until they understand what they have done here.

TG, when I opened an account with them, they were worldsportcenter (wsc). I have an account with them that contains a 5 figure balance and I am taking my views to the KGC.

I think SportsInteraction, which is in the same building as the Kahnawake Gaming offices, is the only other book that keeps most of its operation there. They do have casino and some mgt. in Ireland. BetUs may close its Canada office.

WSC supposedly could have been turned back on to refund players or to operate again if the owner was cleared after the arrest but obviously WSC didn't wait to find out.

KAHNWAKE CUTS OFF SPORTS SITE

Licensing jurisdiction is concerned over organised crime reports

The CNW news group reports that the Kahnawake Gaming Commission has suspended the license held by WSC Management, Inc., a Costa Rican company that manages sportsbook BetWSC.com. It is understood that the decision includes locking the companys servers.

The suspension results from concerns related to criminal charges that have recently been laid against the principal of WSC alleging that he conspired with persons linked with organised crime in Montreal. The Commission decided that these allegations are sufficiently serious and extraordinary that an immediate suspension was necessary to ensure the public interest was not affected in an adverse and material way.

More general media reportage suggests that the WSC company’s owner was detained as part of a Canadian national police sweep against alleged organised crime activities. WSC Management Inc. is apparently owned by one Marco de Pasquale. It is claimed that Rosario de Pasquale, 29, and his twin brother, Matteo Rosario de Pasquale were among 10 Montreal residents picked up by police some 10 days ago on charges related to a major bookmaking operation.

The suspension will remain in force unless and until the Commission is provided further information about the allegations in question, at which time WSC’s permit will either be reinstated or revoked.

WSC Management was set up in 1995 with ownership registered to an outfit titled Espillar Limited in the UK. However, the information portal Sports Book Review reports that the company (WSC) has since been sold to unknown operators, with online gamblers being re-directed to an unknown site on the URL betting.imptek.com Login. SBR reports that players are being invited to log in at the new site, using their unchanged user name and password.

Due to the unknown origins or track record of *Imptek* the portal is advising players to steer clear until more information is to hand. Some players reported that their balances were paid in full via Neteller last week while others were directed to the unknown Costa Rican-based betting website.

Commenting on the suspension and locking of the server, the KGC's Alan Goodleaf told reporters that “the allegations are sufficiently serious and extraordinary that an immediate suspension of WSC’s access was necessary.”

WSC was an extremely well run book that showed no signs of trouble until the arrests and "being sold". Doesn't make me very confident in the smaller well run books when something like this could happen

If was anyway to contact ownership, this seems like they kind of book that would be work doing a buyout/bailout. Until the very end they ran a pretty good shop. I even liked their software.

Anyone have any suggestions about how to recover my funds? I have $7770 in there and I don't really know what to do. I asked Bill about a bailout and he suggested I contact books myself to ask for a bailout (mentioned Royal, but I'm already funded there and don't want to add to my balance). I wouldn't have any idea where to start or what to do when asking.......any ideas?
