As always SBR put on a great bash. You wouldnt expect any less from these guys.

Unfortunately I missed Friday's social gathering because I was out practicing for golf the next day. I knew John was going to bring his A game and I wanted to be ready.

Saturday morning started out with golf. You couldnt ask for better weather or better people. Even if I did get stuck playing with (and losing money to) Gary from DB. It looked like all groups were enjoying themselves. Silverstone Golf Club and SBR hosted one great tournament.

A quick shower and off to Poker. I started off strong kicking the weak from our table and amassing a good amount of chips. I started playing a little agressive and was knocked from the table just before I was about to put my move on Evelyn Ng. PairOfFives takes his freeroll poker tournaments really serious. We probably could have used a dedicated 1 or 2 more cocktail waitresses, but it was still free drinks and very appreciated.

After I was booted from the table I got to hang out with the SBR crew. They are always very down to earth and look like they enjoy giving all that money back to the posters. THe really go above and beyond to show their appreciation to the community that supports them.

Dinner was fantastic. The food was amazing. The door prizes and parting gifts were top-notch. You can tell that SBR really doesnt cut any corners when they plan this thing (even if the comedian was horrible).

From what I could tell attendance seemed to be up considerably, and I saw a lot of familliar faces so retention was also high. I really wish I could have seen General, and I would have liked to meet JJ. I look forward to being back next year.

GJ, glad to hear you enjoyed it again; sorry you got chucked from poker just prior to putting the moves on Evelyn and we really did need an extra cocktail waitress. But then, with this crowd would it ever be possible to have enough waitresses

Couple of guys who busted their backsides to make this happen and haven't been getting much mention in these thank you threads are CrazyLou and Sam. None of it would've gone as smooth without the work they put in both evenings and leading up to the weekend.

Look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

I lasted in the tourney about 2 hours longer than last year and made the dinner. My guess is probably due to the LACK of cocktail waitresses. While I partied hard I didn't become a drunken casualty.

I got to get that pic of you and me.... your a sweetie and the pic on your camera is better than mine.

And while last years paid actors "The prick and Taco" couldn't make it, this years paid actress "Teela" did make it.

Great Time SBR and the looks I got sunday at Binions playing poker in the I got chucked from the bash t shirt was funny. I just hope the mustard comes out that got spilled on it from the nathan's hot dogs I had at mermaids.
