It's been a while fellows. Those of you who have been here long enough know what I am talking about. Last Spring I went away on important business and I returned to find things had changed and not for the better. I came back to find old friends but instead I found a lot of guys had changed and were now bitter and needlessly argumentative. A lot of the frustration came from losing, bad beats, money issues, erectile dysfunction, but who knows...I found a changed forum and I knew I needed to do something.

Right now the gaming industry landscape is as bleak as it has ever been and what's a degenerate to do during these times of uncertainty? He turns to his friends on the gaming forum, that's what he does. There are a lot of great guys on here (i.e. Razz, IMGV, BuddyBear, JJgold, Raiders, etc...) and it's high time we pay tribute by honoring and acknowledging their efforts and hardwork they put into making SBR a great place. Therefore, every month I will nominate one poster to be the Poster of the Month.

This month it's time to pay special tribute to one of the legendary gaming forum posters on here. We are truly privileged to have him post at SBR. He is there for a helping hand and always gives great feedback to everyone on here.

The November Poster of the Month is Pags11.




Congratulations to Pags11 for a tremendous NCAAF season and continued success in NCAAB.

Fellow SBR posters please congratulate Pags11 for the great work he does here on SBR.

Yoshi it's never easy to make the selection....there were about 40 guys who were on the list. It's competitive but i've been impressed with your posting keep up the good work and I wouldn't be surprised if you won the award one day.

buddy and SBR crew,

I am truly honored...last year I was able to win Degenerate Handicapper of the Year and I was please to get that honor...however, I have yet to be named poster of the month until now...this is awesome...

I want to thank all those that have educated me on the industry and also those that helped me handicap all of the college football games and college basketball games this past year...especially razz, buddy and imgv...

I truly feel this is the best forum out there, and I think we need to keep putting our heads together and make some good cash together...

I do enjoy educating others on my experience, as I've been doing this for a while...if you guy's ever have any questions, feel free to private message me (as some of you already do)...

Good question...there are five broad categories I use to select the POM.

1. Character
2. Posting Insight/comments
3. Receptive to other poster's comments
4. Respectful of other posters on here
5. Quality over quantity

Some posters think to themselves if I post enough I can get the award and certainly that increases your chances b/c you have greater opportunity to demonstrate those characteristics I've outlined above but the reality is I look at what is being said. The number underneath the avitar is irrelevant to me.
