usually people are forced into signing up by a spouse, parent, child, etc.

but you're right, it's quite foolish to sign up for a program in which your losses are losses BUT you can't keep any winnings.

If that's really the way it works thats gotta be the strangest shit program I've ever heard in my life, guys a compulsive gambler and a year after signing that crap he goes to the casino and wins 64k and has to pay it back but had he lost they get to keep his losings, casinos must love this program

The poor guy couldn't get a break and was forced by his family to sign his rights away. They probably thought it was a program that would keep him from stepping foot in a casino. But it wasn't and he got screwed. I don't know how long it had been since he signed the agreement, maybe he thought the time was up.

If it was me, I would call JJGold, he would know how to handle the casino management.

i actually believe for most addicted gamblers the subconscious desire is to lose. otherwise there's no reason to play a million times on a game like slots with no mathematical chance of winning in the long run.

Oh my, someone with a keen sense of literacy like me! I see this mistake half a dozen times a day on this forum. It's common everywhere, of course.

I believe the root cause of the problem is phonetics. In speech, many people use the contraction "should've" for "should have" in sentences like "I should've gone to the beach today." Phonetically, this correct form of speech sounds like "should of," which leads people to use the incorrect term in writing.

It is "should have" or "should've," not "should of."

It is "shouldn't have been," not "shouldn't of been."

So with all the security cameras, facial recognition software the casino didn't know he was there for 10 weeks until he had won 64K, I call bull shit. If I was a casino I would love this, there's no reason for me to ban him, or call it up until he wins.

some onus has to be on the casino to "prevent" him from gambling otherwise it's a big con job.

Sharp post, they let you play and wait to see if u win or lose, if u lose then continue on losing no problem if u win they confiscate the winnings what the fuk, gotta be the worse program ever.
