Frist won't run for president
I thought he had a good shot.
WASHINGTON - Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said Wednesday he will not run for president in 2008, a high-profile campaign dropout more than a year before the first convention delegates are chosen.
"In the Bible, God tells us for everything there is a season, and for me, for now, this season of being an elected official has come to a close," said the Tennessee Republican.
And in the sports pages, we say, "you're a dickhead."
I was hoping this religious nut would run so he could get his ass kicked. Looks like his people did a survey and told him he had no chance in 2008.

He had no chance regardless of his stance on gambling.
