If the juice was similar I think you would get a lot of buyers, because 2 point middles in basketball are pretty lucrative in the long run.Originally Posted by Brick Tamland

I am just talking about your example. If I saw a 2 point middle on the board I would fire away with both fists and not look back.

1.5 points for a spread or total in NBA/NCAAB.
1.5 points for an NFL or NCAAB total.
NFL/NCAAB spreads/totals: 2.5 is always good. If you cross a half a 3 or 7, that half point is enough. 1 is good enough if you cross/cover a 10 or a 14.
ill reask this for you seatbelt on the schoolbus wearin guys.
say you have to actually bet....dont even have a acount at pinnacle. Do you bet my week line without knowing more than the line ois off?? your choice is to bet... as in gamble... or not to bet

It has nothing to do with a soft line. For all I know you are a local who is getting hit before Pinny and the rest of the screen books. If I see you 2 points off I need to figure out why. I would get on the phone to my contacts and see if I missed an injury or other important information. I think you always have to do your due dilligence when placing a bet. For all I know you are on teh right side of a line move, and I wouldnt be comfortable laying it down before I knew why you were so off (in other words, capping it with all the necessary info).

To bet it with no opinion involved, I'd say 2 points on a CB total would qualify as a blind bet IF the board was really painted 150. The odds of this book or local beating the move ahead of all the top offshores is not very likely. By the time you found out it was a stale ine it probably wouldnt be stale any more.

If it's off enough to be a profitable scalp, I would take it regardless of my opinion on the game.Originally Posted by Brick Tamland
