Default cascade shifting to full juice soon?

just spoke to one of the lines mngrs at cascade and he said besides them slashing their online limits (ncaa totals to 500 (was 1000) and nba to 1000 (was 2000)and sides for both to 3000 (nba was 5000)) their trying to convince upper management to do away with the 5 cent lines and convert to a full juice book. just wanted know what the general consensus was out there?

We certainly have not received notice of such a move. It wouldnt be a total shock. The low juice is often the entire profit margin. I wouldnt think their would be any changes until baseball rolls around.

cascade without -105? good luck keeping customers with the extremely late lines and no free w/ds

I haven't heard about this one as of yet either. Maybe it has something to do with the new laws that will be going into effect, and they know they can get away with it due to the fact that there will be less books out there that will accept U.S. players.

All Neteller pay outs will have a $25 flat fee levied against your account be it for a $100 payout or for $25.000 payout the charge will be the same.

i think cascade is just taking advantage of the the current market place. they understand that places like wwts, bowmans, canbet etc... are either being absorbed or shutting down their american cilentele so now theres less reason for them to offer any form of incentive(bonus or reduced juice) when they know that if they can keep just 60 -70 % of their customers theyll still come out WAY ahead.

I know at least one Cascade rep is reading/posting here, so just to state the obvious: without low juice Cascade is just another among thousands.

Also, it's a bad idea to go back on an incentive that has characterized the company, because it undermines trust and a longterm business relationship. Skybook offered a free half point, then revoked it. Who still takes them serious?

Cascade did not have enough active players to handle lower juice, they will never ever be a big player with offshore books, solid place though, I think a tier below the Pinny, Greek, Cris types

This is hardly an official statement or even a substantiated rumour. If I was a line manager and wanted an easier life then I'd sure as shit try and convince upper management to convert to a full juice book as well.

why dont you give them a call or better yet speak to lenny so you can SUBSTANCIATE my rumor. im not making this shit up, trust me . do you think i want to pay full juice? the reason it makes sense is because the bulk of their players are either scalpers or sharps so their getting smoked as of late.

I didn't say you were making up what you said, I just said what you posted had little basis of fact.

Bill has spoken to the owner of Cascade and gave a pretty definitive answer - I think I'm more inclined to believe that.

Cascade puts their lines up so late and move them so in time with Pinnacle that they aren't terribly useful to scalpers.

So the reduced juice is a nice gimmick, they've invested some ad cycles in billing themselves as value book so I would be very surprised if they shifted course.

I'm sure the guys that sit at the helm do wish they'd go to -110 cause it would make their jobs easier, just like the cashiers at Walmart wish they'd quit stocking so much so cheap. That doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

Cascade, in fact, has been giving out ten percent deposit bonuses to new accounts along with the discount juice. You could see that as desperate, but I take it as a sign that they know what they're doing.

Interesting, we are not asking ourselves the question, if they are running a profitable organisation. I know little of Cascade, other than the beantownjim saga and that recently I have been told not to play there. That Mansion was losing big time money was never a secret to me, but I long time thought that all their scalpable, middleable, etc. lines were just pure promotion. I then heard that their lines men seriously thought they were having an edge, so they for sure had no idea of what they were doing. If Cascade is offering high limits to sharp players, no way they can survive and they too do not know what they are doing. Mansion at least has the deep pockets. Does Cascade?

What do you expect, him admitting that they lose?
Reducing the limits is a clear sign that things dont go the way Cascade wants it, and hey who would be surprised?
Many failed while competing with Pinny...i like Cascade a lot, but i dont think they are doing allright.

    Good analogy by Bookie here:
I'm sure the guys that sit at the helm do wish they'd go to -110 cause it would make their jobs easier, just like the cashiers at Walmart wish they'd quit stocking so much so cheap. That doesn't mean it's gonna happen.
It doesn't matter what Tom says... or if Tom still works there. (just kidding Tom)
