Default Who's the most deserving and least deserving of the BCS teams?

I know they aren't official yet, but I gotta give props to Boise State for making it. I would love to see them pull a shocker if the matchup is correct (even though I thought their team 2 or 3 seasons ago was much better; I believe it was the season 3 years ago when RD was the QB).

I don't see how Notre Dame doesn't get picked to go to a BCS game, but I don't think they are deserving at all

I say that besides the obvious OSU, the most deserving is Oklahoma. Here we have a team that should be 11-1 if the officials in Eugene don't stick it in them, and only had one poor performance all season - a game they dominated the total yardage, and if they got another shot, I think they win going away.
They've had injuries all over the place, found out just before the season they would have to start a WR at QB, and are still in position to go to a BCS game if they can beat Nebraska.

As far as least deserving, I'd say Florida (if they lose to Arkansas and go to the BCS over LSU) and also agree with the ND sentiments.

ND would be the worst BCS team ever to go, they beat no one the last 2 years, how can they get in over Arkansas and LSU?

If Ark wins this week, Flor and Ark still both should go due to difficulty of chedule.

How about Wisconsin? What a disgrace if ND gets in.

The whole BCS is horrible. How a team like Wiscy, #7 in the BCS rankings, can't get in because of the rules only allowing 2 max per conference is ridiculous.

I disagree that the whole BCS system is horrible. There are always going to be arguments about who should or shouldn't be in the big bowls. Even if you have a playoff system that lets in the top eight teams, someone will bitch that their 9th-ranked squad was deserving.

Sort of like the traditional bowl system, but I'd be willing to change my tune for a playoff system IF...

    a) someone can figure out a way to get all Div-IA teams conferenced-up, and;

    b) someone can convince all of those teams that there needs to be an NCAA scheduling committee to ensure a more fair and balanced 'regular season' slate leading into the playoffs.

Let's face it, BCS system needs to be scrapped. If the powers to be dont want a playoff sys. then combine the AP (like the old days) & Coaches polls into one poll BUT do not release it until the monday after the 1st weekend of Nov. Let the previous yr standings serve as the 'pre-season' list for the current yr.

Wisconsin is not that good folks....they have one of the worst nonconference schedules in the history of college football. Anyone get a chance to take a look at their nonconference schedule.

Bowling Green (3-8, lost to Temple)
    San Diego St (2-9)
Western Illinois (5-6, Division 1-AA school)
    Buffalo (2-10)

That is worse than the old Kansas State nonconference schedules....the only thing missing from that schedule is a Sun Belt team.

Top it off with the fact that the B-10 is very awful this year as a whole and they didn't play OSU and they lost to Mich by DD...and you can see why anyone who thinks Wisconsin should be in a BCS game needs to watch more closely or lives in Wisconsin but one of the two. Don't forget they didn't beat a ranked team all year either....

I give credit for UW not pleading their case to the BCS committee...even they recognize their schedule is a fraud and that discussion of it would not be a good idea. WI should just be content to go to the Capital One Bowl game with that horrid schedule.

ND Is the most overrated by far and it's not even close who is second.
