Or (if any of this is true) then stop gambling. A professional gambler doesn't go broke. A professional gambler puts mechanisms in place to ensure that they don't go broke.

WRONG!!! Seen few peoples that gamble for living that more than once lost up to their house and cars on a poker table... The beutifull thing is that they never stoped gambling and made everything back.
We are talking gambling here... There is no way to assure you will win and if you do for a living and you bet big bucks you might loose.
A "professional" gambler is not the one that bets part of his money.... that is recreational... when you are willing to bet all you have you are both a psycho and a pro gambler.
    Only my thoughts...

I mean professional in the "having great skill" definition rather than the "partaking in an activity as a source of income" definition. In that definition, a professional gambler would not allow himself to go broke.

jay88 - you work at a book. Do you accept $1million bets at -110 on sides for NCAAF? If you're a professional outfit then I doubt you do. But as a chancer, taking a bet at -110 is money in the bank for you.

Whether you're a book or a punter, it's all about money management. If you haven't got money management skills, you're going to go broke.

If you have a giant bankroll and are decent at picking games and/or
reading in between the lines than you can easily be pro..

IMGV why dont you stop bumping the JJ threads up. JJs history. This is a good thing. He was an extreme shit starter who gave blow jobs to old men to support his gambling habit. I know your a JJ wanna be but do it on your own without dragging out 5 month old post.

your mom LOL thats a good one I havent heard a "your mom" since Jr High. I guess the 94 at the end of your name is your birth year... so your what 12 or so. This makes sense to me. Oh yea and about your vote who cares how you vote rep points mean nothing to me. I dont post them and could care less if anyone post pos or neg for me. Ok heres another one I'll pull out so you cant use it

I'm Rubber your Glue Bounces off me and sticks to you.

I'm not smashing JJ I'm smashing you for being a JJ wanna be. The old man BJ was posted by your hero himself. If you like JJ and AK and anyone else whos been banned bounce to wherever they are. I'm way to busy trying to turn a profit to get into this BS. Just try not to live off the LEGEND of a banned poster. Start your own be original.

JJ is a good guy...had a big heart and true love for posting. He is one of top 5 gaming posters ever and some gaming poster scholars consider him the best to ever post. His strories are legendary and are retold across the gaming forum scene from one posting generation to another. Even though he is not here anymore, his spirit lives on. That's the mark of a truly great poster when guys are still talking about him months after he left.

I think IMGV pulling up threads from the past is a great idea b/c it retells those great stories during the early days of SBR.
