Fed? --- No bet. No read on this match, really. ML, Side, total... all trash
Mry? --- He can get beat by Dvy... but ML either way is too risky. HC for Davy? Can't trust the Russian. No action in any which way.
Arod? --- Arod at a great price. Playing great, a winner's luck is on his side right now, Djokr looked non-confident as he looked on from the booth while watching Arod... Djoker is a pussy and a quitter. But can't bet this match w/ true conviction. Arod likely winner. No easy cash angles
Pony? --- Ah yes, the future #1 player of the world... and future Slam winner. When you get future #1's at (+) money before they hit the jackpot.... you can't go wrong w/ them over the long run. And Rafa coming off an injury.. this sets up a beaute of scenario. But what? The Pony ML? No can do.
Rafa is still the best player in the world and his true form is unknown. Plus he fights to the death like no other and keeps coming back for more after you've beaten the shit out of him... and then eventually wins.
Here's the cash angle. Pony on the +2.5 (if they give it). You get back in the game w/ small steps and then, when able, you enjoy the full sprint. Rafa is not in true form yet. You take the +2.5 recognizing that Pony can win this SU... or you see a Rafa comeback late in the third set. The golden nugget w/ this is that Rafa will likely receive to start the match... so you can get a Pony 6-3 win or a 4-6 loss in the 1st set.
Cricket. I don't think I'll ever make a bet on cricket again... but this is mainly b/c it is often played in countries where they wipe w/ the left and eat w/ the right...
.. or is it wipe w/ the right and eat w/ the left?
The fiba tourneys have treated me well. I won't even look at the U16 tourney b/c those are basically children running around... but if I looked at it, stuff would start to appear.
I think Eurobasket is gonig to be really profitable once they roll into September and the non-qualification matches begin. There will be matches every day... and, once again, the linesmakers won't adjust.
I'm still mystified by the Hungary line.... a +5 dog vs. Ukraine.... who they absolutely destroyed a number of days ago as a +3.5 pt dog. Ditto goes for the Czech game... combined 6-0 on the Under, neither team has hit 140 in a game.... and yet they open it at 142.5...
Well, Murray takes care of Davy... and Fed is destroying the zookeeper's child, Tsonga.
Was decisively in favor of Murray > Fed... but after watching Fed play and considering his streak... I've changed my mind. So that semi won't be an option.
However, have reflected further on the Arod match and the Pony match.... and I'm going to roll with the Arod.. and leave the Pony match alone. Betting against Rafa is too dangerous.
Muggay -390
Tsonga +347 ... likely Muggay win, but no play no how no way
Arod +/- ???
Pony +/- ???
Still thinking about this some. Arod has been having these letdowns out of nowhere.. but has prevailed in the end. Pony, as is I suppose the Argentine tendency, has littered his matches w/ Nalby-type non-clean, non-crisp wins... 3-setters to Hewitt, Lu, Hanescu, etc.
A good angle may be the over. Only fear is a 2-0 Pony win as he has the goods to just dismiss Arod if he performs... I'm curious as to who they'll make the fave.
Pony is the future.. future Slam winner, likely future #1... all the under currents push Pony to the top.
I think we're looking at a Muggay/Pony final... and I hope to high shit that Pony beats that bitch Muggay.
Pony continues his run. Rising star that has not even completed 50% of it's ascent.
Pony outright was > +1100 before the quarters I believe.
Amazingly, Pony is a +180 dog to Muggay in the final???? That is absolutely ridiculous.
HC is likely +2.5 .... but if they put it at +3.0, that would be an absolute slam dunk. Muggay is not winning 2-0 sets. Not a chance. Pony is serving out of his mind and although Muggay is one of the best returners in the game... Pony has taken it to a whole new level. He can be one of the best servers in the game... combined w/ an incredible return game.
IMO, Arod would've beaten Muggay in the final... just as he beat Muggay in Wimbledon. But this Pony is a new, more advanced Pony and is a class above the new Arod, who has been playing the best tennis of his life.
