Default For those of you who bet over the phone . . .

Do you like to get your bets in really quick or are you happy to hear the lines and then make your decisions?

And for those of you who like to get on and off the phone as soon as possible, where have been some of the best books and clerks?

Personally, Cascade has always been the fastest overall for me. I routinely get bets made with them even with holding the line at right around 35 seconds.

ASAP had a female clerk who would throw speed right back at you, I think she could go about 300 works per minute, could get on and off the phone in 30 seconds or less. Very quick.

    Greek is pretty fast

    Grande real quick

    Cris is ok

Actually with all the lousy software out there it is quicker to make phone bets than place bets online

i know i for one just place my bets on the spot, if the number is right. if it's not right, i move on to the next book and so on.

    I like them read S-L-O-W!

How about those clerks that just start reading numbers off by ROT number? Like 6, 15.5,3,3.5...." I stop them and tell me to read the names of the teams, the lines and count to 3 before reading the next one... fvckers, I didn't major in shorthand!

You're a ballbuster John ... I seldom call in but when I do it doesn't make any difference at what speed they read it back ... I can't understand them anyway.

And by the time you've understood your pick, the lines has moved by 30 cents.

I don't phone in - if I wanted to phone in, I'd choose a phone-in book. On the internet, everythings there - if it's a price I want, I'll take it. If the line goes, I'll shop around elsewhere.
