Default What would happen if Pinny, Bookmaker, and the Greek just disappeared?

I was just thinking about this last night. What if one day you went to one of those sites and it just didn't exist anymore? If their offices were abandoned... You try to call them but their phone line is cut. How much money would you be set to lose if this happened? Could they easily get away with this? Would syndicates have them hunted down and murdered?? They must be set to make billions if they did this.

I think a lot of the big books make more money a year than they have in accounts, you got a lot of guys who lose five figures a year but only have like a dime in their account. But for lesser books it might be the best option and has been done many times.

Not a dime, I don't use any of those books.

Well to begin with, a lot of Yanks could laugh at those who have been laughing at them for not being able to play at Pinny.

It would be in the tens of millions gone.

As others have said, there wouldn't be much motivation. They all likely earn more yearly than their postup at any given time.

Some landlord will be really pissed off if they abandoned their offices overnight.

ACES GOLD did just this a few years back........POOF, and they were gone.

To this day, the only book that ever stiffed me out of 170 that I've been with.

Sportsbook.com was sold for $1 a few years ago. Did everyone lose their money then?

Don't be too confident in any book, i made an offer on betjam yesterday. I offered $1 to buy their website, because it was for sale. Seriously.

WAKE UP! Do you honestly think that none of the owners is/are part of a syndicate/mafia?? And you only have to worry about a book running if they are not licensed.

The majority of books can just dissapear if they wanted too and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

If Bookmaker disappeared there would be carnage. They act as a shock absorber now absorbing risks from other bookmakers. They also provide liquidity in an industry desperate for it.

bwin and betfair will swallow pinnacle if they disappear. Where pinnacle's daily business is in millions theirs combined is in billions. pinnacle is a very small fish in the worldwide offshore gambling business.

I can see betfair but why bwin? Would bwin not be on the same par as paddypower, bet365 in terms of players and income?

if pinny was gonna cut and run they probably should have done it before they returned a billion$ or whatever it was to the USA

I can't use Pinny, rarely use BM or Greek, so they wouldn't be missed too much, the Greek can be useful.

However I wouldn't trust any book, if all 3 were to cease to operate one day, so it would mean the end of the industry to me.
