Default Parbet.. good or bad ??

Hello guys.

I am looking at Parbet.com . Does any of you had any experience with them (good or bad)

On SBR there isn't too much info. Just rating C- and just an e-mail

Should I stay away?

Hello cb.

My guess is you are going to get bunch of stay away replies as always, when asking about a book rated below B. Here is my experience and remember that I do not know anything about the financial background or safety of the book. My information comes from my own betting experience only.

I've played there for more than 2 years and withdrawn a bit more than 8000 € in smaller amounts. They have always paid promptly to bank account or neteller. That being said, unless you bet on Scandinavian sports there is not much of value in Parbet. Their site can be slowish at times but that has been getting better lately.

hahahahaha, scam bookie, hahahahaha.

I am playing with them for years already and never had a problem nor I heard about a problem with them. Still, however, check betfair and betdaq as well as they usually have more volume on every game but also a bit higher commission.

Thanks for the reply BadAzz and pjesnik24.

8000€ is a big amount. That's good too hear. I'll take it as a good news for a small investor like me!

Remember that the 8000 € is the total of my all withdrawals during 2+ years of playing. The biggest single withdrawal I've made is 800 €.

I am always glad to help, if I have any valuable experience.

Even if their markets are not as liquid as the Betfair markets they are useful from time to time: they have a lower commission rate than Betfair (4% at the beginning) and also some times there are really good odds for special events (for example for correct score of soccer games).
Their website is not very well designed (for example to find information about placed and accepted offers one has to click on the hidden button 'frozen') but apart from that I can recommend them.

pags, have you ever played there? heard any bad stories about them? ever even visited their website? do you know anything at all about them except their rating?

there are six, seven people posting in this topic, who do know more about them, have actually played there, are more than satisfied (as am I by the way) with them.

Apparently you see the SBR Rating Guide as some sort of bible. For European customers it definitely isn't. Most European bookies are rated very conservatively, problably just because they don't offer a whole lot of interesting stuff in American sports and SBR still is mostly set up for an American audience.

The fact nobody in this thread, except some lunatic who does not even seem to realize Parbet is not even a bookie, has come up with anything negative, should at least make you think before posting the same old posts. Sometimes I wonder if you ever read the whole topic.

Another thing: "(especially these days)"
Just because times are bad for American bookies and American bettors, times are not necessarily that bad for European bookies/exchanges and European bettors that never relied on the US market anyway.
Altough I wouldn't trust Parbet (or some of the other low-rated Europpean bookies) with 10K, I trust them a whole lot more than a lot of the American B-rated books over here.

ChristianBet, if you are interested about ParBet, you might also want to take a look at BetOnBet and RedBet. Both of those exchanges have 3% comission and they offer pretty much the same as ParBet. BetOnBet has a little Norwegian feel with lower national leagues offered in soccer.

It is hard to tell which one is the best but go and take a look.

Also, I have to agree with noyb here. SBR ratings are often not very informative when dealing with European books/exchanges.
I think it is simply because SBR does not have enough information due to the location. And per keeping with SBR policies, the ratings are low, if they do not know enough. And that is perfectly right. However if someone comes in and asks about a bookmaker, it is better to give him actual experiences and facts if you have any to share. Blind warnings are not doing any good, they just make it hard to distinguish between good and bad books.

Concerning exchanges for me the most useful ones are:

1. Betfair (most liquid markets)
2. Betdaq (better in asian handicap markets than BF plus
same tennis rules as Expekt, Betathome and Bwin)
3. Betonbet (low commission rate - 3% only)
4. Parbet (good in some special things - 4% commission)
5. Betsson (have some exotic sports like chess :-) - 4%)

Of course also Mansion can be useful but at the moment I am not sure where they will go in the future.

BadAzz, I'll have a look at those two.

Don't worry. I'm not taking in consideration posts like "scam bookie" without an explanation.

For me is very important general consensus, and for example, I will stay away from bookies like BetAndWin, mostly because of the many complains I read about them on this forum.

But on SBR I also found bookies / exchangers rated C too , that I never heard a serious complaint about them (Expekt, Gamebookers)

I want to diversify my portofolio of bookies so yes, every info about potential bookies is welcomed

Thanks!

Sorry if I am bumping an old thread ... Parbet closed their exchange betting activites a long time ago. So, what I am trying to say is that Parbet should be removed from the SBR-rating guide.

Parbet is only a poker/casino site nowdays.

Cheers from Sweden!
