    Default WGC Tiger Vs Mickleson

What I have noticed is that Tiger has bad first rounds in most of the tourneys he plays leading me to believe the easy money can be picked up by taking Mickleson. Im down on him for________ at 225 l not giving the numbers anymore just know I have my hand in the action. Pot Stirrers Stay away.

The problem with this line of thinking is that you are ignoring how well Tiger plays at Firestone, and more---what Mickelson himself said about his own golf game.

Mickelson on the Golf Channel last night said he is using this week to compete and to prepare for next week's PGA Championship.

    I am a Phil fan---but even I wouldn't have made this one.

    Best of luck though.

Im not overlooking how well Tiger plays over the whole course of the tourney we are looking at how often both of them put in good 1st round scores and on paper Phil has the edge.I say Tiger puts in a 72 today.

Tiger is massive unders to win the tournament. What's new? Big fade. British Open result was not an abberation. His game is technically flawed at the moment. I should know I have a 22 handicap.

Tiger did win the Buick last weekend by 3 strokes, correct?

If that is "flawed", what the hell is the rest of the tour?

    Solid round for Phil...even par.

Now, hope and pray that Tiger meltsdown.

    He is 1-under through 3.

Oh maybe it wasn't Tiger, anyone see who drove that ball?

So it looks like Tiger is going to shoot his career average opening round at Firestone...a 68.

Hmmm, where'd we read that before? Oh yeah...CaneDawg pointed it out.

I am NOT busting on Taylor, but why would he have thought Woods was going to shoot a 2-over 72? That would have been the highest opening round Woods ever shot at Firestone. Why today? Just an odd "prediction". I am thinking Taylor wasn't even aware that Firestone plays to a Par 70.

And THAT is why I don't think Taylor is the player he really really wants us to think he is.

No one makes a significant wager on Phil today knowing the history Woods has at Firestone, and certainly no one would have predicted Woods was going to shoot his highest opening ever at Firestone.
