I personally dislike Dan Dierdorf ( Daffy Duck ) .
His voice is annoying, but personality is horrible.

I know a lot of people don't like Buck, but he's one of my favorites. He treats the audience as if they've witnessed a game before, and doesn't try to dumb everything down with childish analogies and crap.
Madden has to be the worst, for pretty much the opposite reasons.

Joe Buck is the worst.....period.

I'd do Erin Andrews in a second...my vote goes to Joe Theisman...

Worst: Chris Berman, Dick Vitale, Bill Walton, the guys who do the Red Wings games on radio.
Berman's schtick is old and stopped being funny over a decade ago. He should retire. Vitale never stops talking (or yelling) and yet has nothing to say. Walton sounds like he has a mouth full of food when he speaks. The "color" guy for the Red Wings games sounds like the George Steinbrenner character from Seinfeld, and the other guy squeals in such a high pitch whenever the Wings score that you'd think his genitals were being tightened in a vice.

the work he puts in despite being the son of a legend, he is bad ass. if he was never the son of such a great announcer, than alot of people would think he is pretty good.
him and troy aikman make a good team on nfl. buck can keep me interested in watching whatever contest that it is (mlb/nfl).
best - joe buck, al michaels, costas, alberts, matt gukois (cant remember the spelling)?
worst - espn sunday night crew, madden, vitale, walton.
one up and comer to remember is doug gottlieb for ncaa hoops

I couldn't tell who the worst announcer is. But Costas and Albert are the ones I prefer.
As for analysts, there was one guy who stood out in hockey.
You know how most of them describe the replay saying "see how he runs", "see how he finds the hole" or "he went past the defenseman, wrist shot in the top corner and scored". I get the feeling those guys are practicing to become the play-by-play guy. They're paid to analyze but too many of them lack that ability. Mike Bossy could find the hit, the pick or the miscue that created the opportunity. It was refreshing to have someone who understood the game and pinpointed the cause that created the effect. He was the best.

Bob Davies. Now that he is paired with Ron Franklin on the Saturday night game, it's not as noticeable, but when he was with some nobody on an early Saturday game last year, it was dreadful.

Tom Seaver is bad also
