No. Some say UFL, but CFL is possible too. Do the Ricky Williams thing.

Vick not in NFL this season. Next season different story.

NFL teams don't want the stigma. If he plays somewhere else first, they won't have to worry about that so much.

Vick will definitely play again, just let the dust settle. 50% he will play this season. 90% he will play by the next.

I really wonder if he is worth the trouble, he will definitely be a number two. Is it worth the bad publicity for a backup QB?

When he comes on the field I assume the boo's will be deafening

Pretty accurate and their ball sails when they throw it, historically black nfl qbs are major failures, always can find a guy that had a lucky run.

He'll definitely have some trouble with the fans. I don't know if I could root for him, but it sure would be easy root against any team he plays for. Would be nice if that were a rival team.

I wonder how Vicks speed is now?? If he still has skills I would think he could help someone

Just wait until a few starting QBs go down and he'll wind up on a roster for sure. Definitely not in the CFL though.

Vince Young WAS a star. It was when he was at Texas. He was a helluva college QB. The game he played against USC was one of the best games in college football history. College is NOT the NFL.

VY had success in college because he was usually he best athlete on the field. The difference is, in the NFL, there are great athletes on both sides of the ball. He hasn't been able to (and won't be able to) get by on sheer athletic talent and succeed in the NFL.

You gotta be able to read defenses. You gotta be able to stick the ball in small windows. VY has not shown the ability to do either in his time in the NFL. And then there's that whole "he's never had to deal with failure before" and hasnt done a very good job of dealing with it since he got into the NFL.

I don't think it's a slam dunk by any means that VY will be star in the NFL. I'm not saying it couldn't happen... but I'd give it no more than a 30% chance.

4th and Stupid hit the nail on the head. He had a lot to lose also. Nice call.

He hasn't made the team yet for NFL week 1 because it is still 4 weeks away. He can get hurt, cut, traded and most importantly he is suspended until week 6.

He'd bring a whole new dimension to the "wildcat" . That's the only role I can see him in.

did he forget how to throw a football?

did you forget these types of runs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf8J1...eature=related

did you forget this type of arm strength????????: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD4FH...eature=related

do you think he lost his arm strength? HELL no.

do you think he lost speed?: maybe slightly? i doubt he lost much though. and even at 80% of his 'prime' speed hes still faster than 90% of other qb's

chad pennington, kyle orton, etc are starters in this league, you think vick doesnt have a shot at earning his starting position back?

do some research. he wasnt playing with his thumbs in prison. there are pull up bars and fields, you know?
