I am curious. Do any of you guys bet the dogs anymore either at an OTB or live at the track?

I used to play Raynham but they are done. Right now I play Palm Beach, Flagler and Bluffs Run at the OTB.

Lately it's been hard to find a reason to go, but I occasionally bet at the OTB. Mostly Derby, PB, Jax.

Do you know of any tracks offering substantially lower takeout?

What are they doing? Didn't think they were running.

Does anybody know what was the last new track to open and when?

Any of you boys playing any dogs lately? Been playing Flagler and the win pool on some races is only $300.

Plan on starting up soon. Working on a method that would allow me to bet numerous tracks at the otb. Looks like they're simulcasting 8-9 tracks in Denver, though we have no tracks of our own.

i think being lucky on dogs at the start = unlucky in gambling.

    capping mongrels ain't easy.

dog racing due to casino infiltration and low handles is soon to be a thing of the past.

I have my limits with gambling. Dogs ,to me is one of the lower forms of gambling. I've been to the dogs in Mexico and bet off track in Vegas on occasion mostly in the 80's. My favorite running line is collided fast turn.

This sucks, I don't know what's left. Mass down, NH down. Simulcast only.
Twin River (Lincoln Park) finally down. I grew up going to Lincoln and loved it for many years.
People would rather play video slots and owners make much more money on them.
In Mass that law did it. Nothing in Connecticut anymore, right ? or even New York ?
Am I going to have to drive 18 hours to West Virginia to see a dog race ?
    very upsetting.

Was just passing through Iowa. Dubuque has a nice little track-casino. About 50 people sit behind the glass betting the races. Also simulcasting. Nice little area. Problem is the total win pool is like $50.
