Default Enrolled Into GA Today

Went back and forth of to go and not to go but did go. I lost a bundle. I do not think I am allowed to post anymore if enrolled in this program. I have to ask SBR John if it is ok. He is the only guy that I trust with this type of stuff. I did take Indy -2.5 in the 1st half tonight before I enrolled.

Should I tell the book to void the wager?

How much did I lose? Well since Sept 1st around $27,000. I had $2,000 in savings. My buddy paid off everything.

What should I do?? I like the boys here but maybe it might make me bet again. Jerkoffs like Big Boy Dan asking me who I like and shit every night.

Danny I request you do not ask me anymore as it might get my juices going.

Tough Day

Hey Compactor you do not know what the fuk your talking about. I had a sponsor bring me in and he introduced me as a Newark Gambling Legend and Gambling poster. Hey Pal when I walked in with my fukkin mink on everyone was stunned. I was the real deal Chief. I talked about a lot of things and blowing that old man and I stunned everyone and shook their fukkin asses up. I was funny but it was kind of sad, you have no clue pal you white collar fukkin criminal, yeh I know what you did with those bonds in 86. When I was done everyone was hugging me and wishing me luck. I gave an opinion on the Rutgers game also as a joke and said I was betting it and the place erupted. I mentioned some names also from forums and mentioned Russ Hawkins and the day he stuffed me in his trunk for bashing some books he had deals with.

We had a ball.

I hear they have good coffee and free donuts to boot... which would be better then any book ever gave us, right Coach?

actually actionbet sent me some costa rica coffee and about a thousand shitty pocket schedules a couple weeks ago...I looked the brand up online and looks like it real cheap crap... I guess that is what about what I should expect after winning a couple hundred and cashing out right away because of the their payment problems back whenever...

but the coffee will make a great regift with Christmas coming up, so it is all good...

Anyhow JJ how is the coffee and is it truely free? I'm sure there is a catch... as all us true gamblers know nothing is ever free...

All this zaniness aside, gambling addictions are a major, serious problem in our society and GA (Gamblers Anonymous) is a great organization that has done a ton of good for countless individuals and their families around the world.

I am a recovering drug addict/alcoholic - so I have my fair share of exposure to 12-step programs, of which GA is one. For some incredibly lucky reason, my addictive personality has never become a factor in my betting, but I know people from Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous who also go to GA.

Basically what I'm trying to say is, if anyone has any questions about GA, feel free to drop me a PM and I am confident I can get answers. I have some literature here, I have knowledge of 12 steps programs and, most importantly, I know people who go to meetings. Any PM's would be kept in strict confidence.

Okay, resume the zaniness.

Don't try and blame me for this one coach. Just because I want to know your picks, doesn't mean i'm forcing you to bet on them. However, if you really don't want me to ask you for your picks anymore I won't.

Danny you are the prime reason I am in GA always egging me on for picks and inside info. Danny I moved lines but could not get ladies panties off. Danny I nailed my last bet Indy -2.5 1st half, went out a winner.

My Pappy always said that "winners never quit and quitters never win". I just always assumed that went for gambling too.

I could be wrong but I think JJ you just need to suck it up. I know its kind of depressing losing everything but GA seems a little extreme. If you just bet against the raiders every game you will be set when the bowls come around. Hit a loan shark but remember "winners NEVER quit", I think that might also mean that losers do quit. And JJ, you ain't no loser!

F*ck all that 12-step sh*t, as if you have some disease and need to be cured. You love gambling. So what? Your problem is not gambling. Your problem is losing. You only need 1 step, and that is better money management.

But it's good for the movie. Got to throw it in there somewhere. Just make sure that it's 'different'.

ga will suggest you should avoid places and people associated with gambling which is a very difficult thing to do.when i was in the program i would ease my fever by going to the races and just watching.after a while I would get bored and leave.g.a. wasn.t for me but it did teach me how to quit.they say it takes three weeks to break an addiction cycle.once I got passsed that point i didn't have the craving to bet anymore//day by day

I called my bookmaker last night and he told me JJ made 5 nba bets for like $50. Who knows what goes on in his mind. I love him but he is nutty and doubt he lasts in the program.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Sorry bro but look how many posts JJ has and look how many you have.....you don't have a right to address him like this. JJ is a made poster and can say whatever he wants.....If this was goodfellas you would have been sent for by now for saying this. My recommendation is you apology for this comment.
