Something to consider son...

Gamblers Anonymous offers the following questions to anyone who may have a gambling problem. These questions are provided to help the individual decide if he is a compulsive gambler and wants to stop gambling.

TWENTY QUESTIONS

1. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?
2. Has gambling ever made your home life unhappy?
3. Did gambling affect your reputation?
4. Have you ever felt remorse after gambling?
5. Did you ever gamble to get money with which to pay debts or otherwise solve financial difficulties?
6. Did gambling cause a decrease in your ambition or efficiency?
7. After losing did you feel you must return as soon as possible and win back your losses?
8. After a win did you have a strong urge to return and win more?
9. Did you often gamble until your last dollar was gone?
10. Did you ever borrow to finance your gambling?
11. Have you ever sold anything to finance gambling?
12. Were you reluctant to use "gambling money" for normal expenditures?
13. Did gambling make you careless of the welfare of yourself or your family?
14. Did you ever gamble longer than you had planned?
15. Have you ever gambled to escape worry or trouble?
16. Have you ever committed, or considered committing, an illegal act to finance gambling?
17. Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping?
18. Do arguments, disappointments or frustrations create within you an urge to gamble?
19. Did you ever have an urge to celebrate any good fortune by a few hours of gambling?
20. Have you ever considered self destruction or suicide as a result of your gambling?

Most compulsive gamblers will answer yes to at least seven of these questions.

hmm 19/20. actually I was at one time except #20. I did go to GA for awhile and obviously I did not quit gambling my I changed the way I gamble. I set a parameter and I do not go beyond it. I no long gamble any money that is suppose to go to bills. I do not borrow to gamble. Gambling is no longer the #1 priority in my life(sex is now err haha close but I love disney). When I win big I do not go nuts with the money. I often pay months ahead on bills and credit cards. Right now I have like $200 in cc debt only which is nice. Basically I gamble to pay for disney trips for the family.

NFL and NHL killed me this week-end. Think I lost 11 units. You and I should turn touts and sell our picks to fade.

Two to fade for the money

Max

Edit: and with that post, I became a senior member. Do I get a t-shirt or something?

JJ,

I think it is time to come out of retirement. An 12 hour break from betting is long enough.

Get back up on that horse.

My biggest hits JJ, aside from fading you, have come from 3 team 10pt teasers.

Anyone else here think JJ would be perfect as a tout?

1. He loves to brag about how good he is and how he's a pro.

2. He could use the money.

3. He would no longer be losing money with his plays. Other people would do that for him.

I think you should consider it JJ. Get a bankroll together, find 3 or 4 sales guys and you're on your way. You'll never have to give blow jobs for anything again. As a matter of fact, you could probably buy yourself some pretty nice blow jobs with all the money you'd make from the squares who use services. I'm sure AK, raiders, and slugger could help you out. Just trying to help you out son...

I know a few suckers in town. I always tell them to stay away from the parlays. Do they listen? No.

Yeah one of those weekends, this week is looking tough
Ever since I started playing the 3 team 10 pt teasers the normal spreads look risky, I have also started playing halfs and in prog quarters. Trying to make smaller bets since I am on the up

Parlays are sucker bets but if your just betting for fun why not as theya re exciting type bets where you do not need lots of cash to stay in action.

they may be sucker bets JJ but I am winning with them and you are losing without them. Course, if you cannot pick 1 straight up I can understand how 3+ would be beyond your abilities. I would ask you to bow down before the master but you may take it the wrong way.
