Default Futurebet books- questions to Bill Dozer and the SBR Mods

I think I jumped the gun on these F books, I got a million rock solid D books to look at first!

How about Futurebet. More generally this raises the question of what a D book represents. If a book stiffs someone without justification, does that not automatically put them in F territory? So while a D book might slowpay and be frustrating, does it not mean that they WILL pay?

Specifically, I'm looking at all these Futurebet books and reading about slowpays. On 2/10/06 Bill Dozer reported that Betthegame.biz was unable to pay players. On 2/1/06 Dozer reported that Chapsportsbook was defaulting on payment plans. On 12/1/05 SportsbookUSA was delayed indefinitely. So all these issues, but presumably since there is no more news then I'd think they're handling these problems? Is that a good assumption? If so, then the key is that they PAY.

Keep me updated about the D's you'll give a try. I personally play at

Bet-At-Home, where I am up about 3000 € and they've been great. They are the only book that actually gave me a little bonus for pointing out a bad line for them. Payouts take about a week to bank account. I've been with them a bit more than 2 years.

Pointbet, as far as I know they are a D because of the suspect location. About 2500 € up there in 2 years time, using Moneybookers with them.

NewGuy when you were young and your mother told you not to touch the eyes on the stove because they were hot what did you do ?

When books have bad ratings its for a reason.

If you dont care about SBR ratings and you play with crap books anyway dont read the ratings just send your money and cross your fingers.

When I get an offer from a book and I read that they have stiffed a player I send them to the SBR site and let them know that this is why I will not sign up. This lets this book know that by treating this customer bad they have lost more than they know. Sports wagering in todays enviroment is very volitle and when you send your funds to low rated books it's like buying penny stocks... you might not get burned today but you will get burned very soon. DON"T TOUCH THE EYE NEWGUY.

Many players still haven't been paid. Honestly if a book is an F is generally for a good reason.

We still get a lot of complaints. The reports become repetitive but we do try to make note when a new Futurebet site pops up. Like Lakerfan said, some are unresolved and some are paid. Some of those sites will be reassessed and put in the D range. Those that remain at F will be the ones that are not only dealing with their terrible host, Futurebet, but also have problems covering their own expenses.

    Thanks for the response, Bill!

In a post last week somewhere, marc specifically mentioned Futurebet. I don't want to put words in his mouth but let's just say he implied that they were a tremendous hassle to get paid from and it might take 6 months. But, again (highlighting the distinction between the slow and no-pay), they PAY.

So maybe the complaints are all fresh? Maybe its just like SIA where its a neverending cycle of complaints followed by resolutions?

I created a fresh thread on these kinds of issues but a specific closer look into Future would be nice.
