    Default Stand-Alone SportingbetPLC Sites

These Sportingbet sites are unbelievably complicated. The more Bill Dozer explains about them, the more confused I get (but I appreciate the effort!) lol

So what would be useful to know is which ones are totally independent.

Betonusa- according to some mods at EOG is completely independent.

    Hollywood-?

    BetUSA-?

These come to mind, any others?

I do not play there, but many people like them because they offer many live bets... The pioneer books shoud offer them too, and then the SBT etc. will be shifted away.

A lot of the Sportingbet sites have been around longer than the A-rated books.

BetOnUSA uses World Gaming software but is a different operation. BetUSA's owner is the only one that is involved in day to day activity outside of the London-based sites. This isn't a cure-all for the former Sportingbet CS mishaps.

I understand people wanting to sort this group out. These books offer enough with CC processing and Bodog-type bonuses that it is worth the liability for some. For those who get cashback or miles on ************, they will hang on until the cost of playing there increases. For the guy who doesn't know how to play their game, a dispute can be a nightmare.

Do all the people that have disputes with these books eventually get paid or are they still confiscating balances?

Of those who complained to SBR, a good portion were refunded after our meeting with management. Some players were credited after a year. Talks broke down when the company went through restrucring due to the Port Act. There are players who didn't get confiscated funds back and there is a guy who lost 20k+ to virtual horse racing bets he didn't place. I think 2 of the Virtual Horse "glitch" victims actually posted here and were refunded. At least 5 others were credited at the same time. A few players had their winning wagers canceled when Sportingbet Plc sold.
