First time the kid has ever gambled, stand up folks, round of applause.

Unreal. Guy wins 300 and wants a curtain call. Fukk him. These board would be chalked full of useless posts like this thread here. Unreal.

Listen guy, next time just go to the table and don't look at past spins, just place 1k on black or red you decide, you hit it, you double your money, you lose you lose, just walk away either way.

    this is an obvious joke.
OTW how much money did you bring to the casino? What was your biggest bet. My guess is you don't have that kind of money.

You pretty much always win a little the first time you play.

I tend to always play a kind of Martingale system -- it's called chasing your losses. It can work okay for a while until you're completely wiped out.

I did it once out of frustration through an online book. I had taken some bad beats the night before and just said f\*\*k it, I'm gonna blow the money I have left in the account. I was placing $2 as my base unit wager. I played for about 15 minutes (you can spin a lot of rolls online in 15 minutes). I don't think I ever went higher than a $16 wager. I won enough to get back the two bad beats I'd taken the night before and quit. Haven't tried it since because I know the stats and percentages say if you do it long enough you will hit at least a 6 roll losing streak. But the one time I tried it I made a profit.

You can't seriously do this in a casino, imo. The limits will cap you out to soon I think. But with $1 or $2 minimums at online books, you can do this and make a profit for a session at least. I did.

BTW, if you are going to try this play the European wheel. There is only 1 green. Given the option, I don't know why anyone would ever choose the American wheel, but I guess people do because they give you the choice sometimes.

the most you will go is 9 times in a row. start with $1 and keep doubling you can $$$ in 30 minutes but leave after 15 mins

You will always be an underdog to double your money using a martingale at a negative expectancy game.

So if he started with less than 300 he got lucky. But of course, most likely he never went to the casino with $ just dreamed that he had.

Then you put a dime on 36 which won and you had too much money to fit in your pockets. And then Nicky came over to the table to kiss you and you made sweet love for hours in the casino toilets.

But then you woke up and realised it was all a dream and you had to get mummy to wash out the jizz from your bedsheets.

onner is a professional gambler.. he has been booted in every casino in North Carolina. not one casino wants his action. he is banned from every casino and was told if they ever catch him in there again, they will toss him out physically.

that never scared onner. he just goes back with a disguise and they never know it's him.

every casino in N.C. fears onner's action. he is a professional gambler.

wow, another 400$.. omg.. you are good.. he's perfected the martingale.. and doing this while wearing a disguise too.. that's tough to pull off as it's tough to concentrate when wearing a fake wig, mustache, beard and hat.. I just hope he can continue fooling them.. These guys really don't want onner's business.. they are scared of him..

Onner might very well be the best casino gambler SBR's ever known

And what a suck ass casino it is. Only slots/video, in the middle of nowhere, and no alcohol.

I live in Las Vegas and have seen many people try the "Martingale".

They will buy in for $5,000 and when the system works and they win $100 or so, they feel like they have conquered the world.

Not only do the pit bosses NOT object to this kind of player, they embrace them with open arms.

There is nothing better for the casino when the player wins 99 out of 100 sessions and still goes home broke at the end of the 100th session.

I only wish I could be on the other side of the table when one of these jokers walk in.

andy you hit the nail on the head.

why do you think the casinos put in "scoreboards" showing the last 15 or so roulette numbers? it was simply to encourage the martingale-type players that don't realize the wheel has no memory. yes you'll win $20 99% of the time but the other 1% (if you're doing a 7-bet string) you'll lose $2500.

unlike blackjack, where if you count cards you can have a mathematical edge at times, at roulette (even single 0) you can NEVER have an edge.

and guys here LOVE to see other guys win, but only if they are using their brains and handicapping or playing poker. not flat out on a death wish with martingale.

do a quick search and i'm sure you'll find plenty of stories of guys that lost everything playing that system. they might have won 50 trips in a row but the 51st bankrupted them.

yeah I tried this once. Unfortunately the $25 I won 24 times paled in comparison to the $6,375 I lost before I exceeded table max. Spare some change?

I used to martingale online casinos a few years ago and never hit the big loss. No word of a lie, I paid an entire semester's tuition with my martingale winnings. I used a bit of a different strategy so you could make more chase bets before going broke.

You bet $1 at 2:1 on the top/mid/bot 3rds. The bet sizes go 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 14, 21, 31, 48, 71, 106, 159, 239 The table min was $1, max $300. The largest wager I had to make with this chase was $159 and I was shitting my pants. I stopped the next day and cashed it all out.

been screwing around and testing this and it looks like you can't loose with this system as long as you have high table limits.. and you have a 500 dollar starting bankroll

I use the same system, just a little different.
I follow until one of 3rds doesn't hit for 6 times in a row (not counting 0/00). Then I follow the same: 1,1,2,3,4,6. But that's it. I don't continue, just start over at a different time. Very slow process this way; but it's nice when a lot of ppl are at the casinos and you can post up at 1 table while usually watching up to 4 tables at the correct view of the electric board.
