I guess sometimes it's referenced in another thread and someone's trying to do someone else a favour by showing them what they're talking about. Sometimes it's just an inside joke I'm sure.

In this case though someone on another forum referred to this thread and when I saw that joke it made me laugh. Some people will remember Aussie Punter and it may just make them laugh too.
