I have no idea who txbadboy is or what this poll refers to, but I'm quite sure my vote would remain the same regardless.

Basically the guy who won, didn't have any posts when you need 30 to participate. Another guy got 9th place and also doesn't have enough posts.

I say we can't penalize somebody for an oversight that was clearly Lou's fault. He requested entry, was granted it by the Mod whose very job it is to catch this stuff, and then he won.
The equitable solution is for txbadboy to be paid accordingly, and also to pay the people who should've won had Lou not screwed up. I'm sure that's what'll happen here, SBR is always very good about doing the right thing when something unforeseen happens. I do think it should come out of Lou's check, as a reminder that being thorough is very much a part of the job, and it seems something goes wrong with every contest he's associated with.

This is why I don't participate in these poker tourneys. Poker is a game played by friends not some freeloaders who show up here to steal the booty.
Maybe have two Poker tourneys. One for freeloaders and one for people who actually post at SBR.

I voted yes. Even though the fvctard should've read the rules. All he would've done was spam us with 30 posts about nothing just to be able to play. The rest of them do that...the 30 posts don't mean shit. It just says, "Hey, I spammed your board. Happy? Can I play now??"
Give him the money. The dude won.

No
Right
Okay
Cool
This is the difference between getting your money and not? Hahahahaha. Everyone stop f'ing around just 'cause you're not going to get jack shit.

LOL wow. This one may hold as one of the most classic screw ups of all time. As I have been saying, LT Profits is the only guy who knows how to run a contest on here, and he catches people putting in picks when they haven't submitted their info, etc. Lou is obviously clueless, as referenced by his laundry list of screw ups in previous contests.
Unfortunately, it would be hypocritical of SBR to not pay out the winner. It seems as if their philosophy in sportsbook disputes is that if a sportsbook books a players bet, then it must pay it out. I would say that should be the case here, since they allowed the player to waste his time playing a freeroll, they should pay out the winner but I agree with others saying Lou should be penalized for this error.
I've also been saying all along that allowing nitwits who see "SBR Freeroll" on the Bodog Poker Software to google it, register for SBR, and get the password is rather stupid because SBR isn't necessarily getting any kickbacks. All of the freeloaders already have Bodog accounts, thats how they found out about the freeroll in the first place. Most of these idiots are professional freeroll hunters, they have accounts at dozens of websites to get freeroll passwords and will never come back to SBR, or any other random site they signed up for, again.
Another day, another fukk up by a mod running a contest. Nothing to see here really, pay the kid, and for now on require 500 or 1,000 posts to play a freeroll. I'd bet the registration numbers stay the same as all of your regular posters will now play since they can chat with people they know at the tables, not freeroll hunters with 5 posts.

As mentioned in other thread, what we'll do is not only pay the two new guys, but we'll also roll the prizes down one so everyone with over 30 posts gets prizes 1-9.
So the 2nd place finisher will get the total amount of 1st, etc, and the bubble guy will get his $10 the 9th place finisher had grabbed.
Thanks for all of the feedback in here.

after he gets paid, why not make it where you have to have something like 500 posts or something before you can play?
or even 250...just something where people dont come and spam 30 posts real quick in order to play...

Here's what we'll do.In order to receive the poker password, I'll require poker username in addition to account #. This way, I can quickly examine final table and match the poker handles to the posters. Anyone not on the list will NOT receive a prize.
