Let's see BETED try to screw me on this Marlins win
Took Marlins -155 ML tonight... as of right now, its graded a LOSS
Here is BETED's Rules, verbatim:
Bet on Baseball
Leagues Offered: AL (American League), NL (National League), NCAA (College)
A. Bet on baseball games by using Run Lines, Money Lines, and Game Totals.
B. Betting on Future Outcomes, example: Odds to win the World Series, Odds to win the Pennants, Odds to win the Divisions and Total Regular Season Wins. Also, individual League Titles (player with the most home runs)
C. When betting on baseball money lines, the following Pitcher Options apply:
Listed Pitchers: Both pitchers must start for the bet to stand or "action".
Action: You will have action on the game regardless of who pitches.
*An action bet will not lead to an adjusted price if the listed pitcher does not start the game even though the original price was based on the starting pitcher.
D. When betting on run lines, totals, both listed pitchers must start, otherwise there is "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" on straight bets, and all money is refunded. * Parlays drop to the next lower level.
Baseball betting rules:
A baseball game becomes official for Money Line betting purposes after 4 1/2 innings if home team is winning, or 5 innings if visiting team is winning.
For Run Lines and Totals, a baseball game becomes official after 8 1/2 innings if home team is winning, or 9 innings if visiting team is winning.
Events do not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified).
If a game goes through 9 innings and is Not completed, example: (suspended, rain delay, etc.), there Is action on all Total and Run Line bets.
Las Vegas Rules apply for any rules not mentioned here.
I don't see anything about last full inning score... and I do think if you toured vegas and asked all the sportsbooks there, Marlins ML was a winner winner chicken dinner.

They just changed the result to a win. I can't believe they either made a mistake or tried to get away with it.
I play at BETED actually because I believe they are a decent book. Not much offerings, but dependable for deposit/cashout.

Bet Ed and 5 Dimes must have the same rules. It sucks. I don't mind losing when I lose, and I'll gladly take a push if the event warrants it. But when I bet a team to win AND they win, I expect to get paid. That's a bad beat.

It took my email to get them to change it, or an influx of emails.

I don't care if they follow the posted rules, but clearly, until they fixed it, they were not by grading it a LOSS. They made good. I woulda flipped out had they claimed vegas rules count Nats as winner or if they woulda changed their rules posted.

After telling me my Florida play was a loss 5 Dimes graded it a win.

I had a long discussion with a friend tonight. It was confusing, but Florida should have won (and did).

Your getting robbed. Vegas rules and any other book should grade it a win because the home team scored to take the lead when the game was called. Marlins are graded as a winner.

Justin,
Why do the books lack conformity on this rule. Why should Florida's win be treated any differently than had they hit a walkoff homerun in the 9th. A win is a win.

Las Vegas Rules: Winner is determined by the last completed inning(unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.

Just because a team "should" win doesn't mean they will and thus I had washington.

How could Washington win? Look at like this. The Marlins won it in the 7th on Hanley Ramirez' two-run walk off single. If you had the Nationals and they graded it a winner, consider it a christmas gift that came early.
