I think the forum 2.0 is neat, clean and modern. Very smooth. Sweet improvement. I had doubts when hearing the talk, but I am a believer now.

I don't like how narrow the new version is, I don't need the right side of the screen taken up with banners pushing contests and SBR.tv so they can increase their bandwidth numbers and charge more for ad space. If it ain't broken, don't fix it, and the old forum works just fine.

Rogue we can do this the easy way or the hard way. I think your a reasonable good looking guy so here is the deal. I want you to switch today, I will check your IP later and if I do not see you using the new version I will have my programmers re direct (forced) to use the 2.0.

the new look ,,,looks like a lot of the other forums pic ems odg etc etc ,,,the old look had some style it made SBR stand out,,,,the new looks just bland and like all the other forums

JJ, we've known each other a while now, don't you think that I would naturally prefer something "hard"?? 
Most of the time I'm on SBR from a laptop, and screen real estate is at a premium. There's no way I'm gonna use the new skin for the forum because I have absolutely no use for the contest banners and SBR.tv videos that are being pimped on the right side of the screen. This is the same reason that BBD was fired, because the new philosophy is to do anything to get new sign-ups at the expense of establish contributors to the community. BBD took a stand against it, and I think it was the right one. You have to dance with the girl that brung [sic] ya.
I appreciate your position JJ, you're like the Majority Whip in Congress. Your job is to make clear the position of the party and get people to support it by any means necessary. But the Founding Fathers knew that the greatest progress comes from two committed and capable adversaries having to iron out differences in the name of compromise. Consider me your counterpart, the Minority Whip, here to expose the shortcomings in your proposal and eager to begin work on a compromise.
How about we get rid of the trash on the right side of the new forum skin? And while we're at it, let's stop the auto-conversion of YouTube's posted in threads to SBR.tv. SBR makes plenty of money without needing to "take credit" for videos that are elsewhere on the 'net at higher quality. They really need more money for the ads they host? See what you can do on these two issues and I'll be happy to join people on SBR 2.0 and help you convert those left behind on SBR Classic.
