All the best teams in every college sport do it.They look you straight in the eye and come up with that bullcrap about student athlete B.S.It just so happens that any kid they want from all points throughout the land has the qualifications to get into U.S.C.while more qualified kids from right down the block who are paying customers are told they don't quite have what it takes to get into school.I'm tired of the vast majority of brain stem athletes being cottled in tailor made custom fluff courses.Then the coaches come up with that B.S.how studies are a priority and such.hehe!Hell,Michael Jackson's chimp Bubbles could get a fluff degree at U.S.C if he played football.All these schools should just add sports as a subdivision where it's the minor leagues where the kids get paid and don't have to put on the grand act that they are going to school.All we need in the world is an extra 30 thousand kids with useless fluff social services degrees that get poverty pimp jobs with the government if they don't make it in the pros.I say this with the utmost of confidence from experience.Here in Minnesota we have had a grander scale of ex athletes scam society working in the public and non profit sectors than anywhere in the country.One ex jock got 425 grand to do a study on why inner city youth weren't using the public parks and recreation facilities and he turned in a note book with scribblings as his study.

I disagree, that is an untrue stereotype. Many would consider the SEC outside of Florida to fall in this classification. USC has quite affluent support. The other teams you mention qualify but that is do to the proximity of a neighboring country. California on average has more citizens with college degrees. Arkansas, Mississippi and Alalbamba are always close to the bottom.
