Can't you like go to jail in Holland if you say that the holocaust killed about half as many Jews as is the recorded official number and stuff like that?I have no idea how many Jews were killed and maybe the official count is dead right but if you are some kid in school and say that, you can get sent away from home to a re education camp? You are under the European Union that took away your sovereignty where they call the shots when it comes to thought crimes like that, aren't you?
What about all the problems you have with Muslims.Wasn't there a gay journalist named Van Gogh that was murdered in cold blood because he printed possibly some truthful and hurtful stuff about Muslims?Didn't Holland start restricting free speech alot more after that where you can't say truthful but hurtful things?Alot of political satire cartoons in Holland are banned now?
I think when you say a socialist utopian and euphorian workers paradise you have to add fascist somewhere in there too?
Socialism is the best system in the world if you are on the receiving end of it.
Definition of socialism, some people are treated more equal than other people.

Pretty funny post Flying Dutchman, but I don't think you can really call Netherlands socialistic country. It isn't any more socialistic country than most Western European or Scandinavian countries. There's of course different nuances how the system works in each country, but they're all pretty much capitalistic free market societies with some socialistic policies thrown in. Higher taxation to cover government funded cheap healthcare and some kind of social security benefits, enough to cover housing costs and basic necessities for unemployed people, is mostly the norm.
Personally, I like the state of civil liberties in the Netherlands. Legal weed is a great thing. It should be legalized everywhere. Government shouldn't be allowed to dictate what drugs I can ingest.

Holland is red tape country. You can't do anything there, not even the simplest work, without first going to school for a few years. And if you don't like what you do, too bad, back to school again... And if you were properly schooled and have a good job, the taxes are outrageous.
They suffer from what my Kiwi wife recognizes (from her own country) as 'tall poppy syndrome'. Their biggest sports hero ever, Johan Cruyff, who they should celebrate, they ridicule instead. This is a Calvinist country with an inbred fear of everything outside of the norm. And when confronted with this undeniable fact they suddenly mention 'Amsterdam', which is basically an avant garde theme park that has nothing to do with the rest of the country.
The prison sentences are light, so since the European borders opened they have attracted a lot of major crime figures. They're allowing Muslims to take over their country, without ever firing a shot, because they're too afraid of what others might say if they ever showed any backbone in defense of their country. They try to sell this lack of guts as tolerance. They even have an anthem in which they sing that they're from German blood... Go figure. The national anthem. That's like Canadians singing they're from American blood.
Sorry guys, coffee shops with cheap marijuana and a red light district are no beacons of freedom. They're distractions to make people forget how stuck they really are. America, in spite of everything, is still the land of freedom. That has nothing to do with right or left wing, but with the principles this country was founded on. And there are those of us who will fight for those principles, and refuse to let motherf*cking European and other internationals bankers take over this country. That's what the present fight is about.

You want to be a manicurist, you need a licence. You want to cut hair, you need a licence. You want to sell houses, you need a licence.
Oh shit, that's America!
Well the personal tax rates are hardly outrageous compared to the rest of Europe. The USA has a smaller rate, but yet one of the highest corporate tax rates - you should consider who ultimately pays the corporate tax rate.
I'm not even going to bother with the rest of the BS in your post. Seriously, that comes across as a BrentCrude rant with similar intellect but better spelling.

Dream on Taco. All you are is Mr. Smart Ass with very little actual knowledge of what you are talking about. But go ahead, and educate this uninformed individual about the finer nuances of Dutch culture.
In any case, I didn't write it for you. It was a response to Flying Dutchman, who may appreciate it more than you.

No really, Taco. Why stop short here? Aren't you just getting on a roll?
Show me just how predictable you really are. 9/11. lol Tell me about Holland. I want to know.

A typical response from someone who, after starting insults, admits to having no knowledge on the subject, yet manages to do so in a manner that makes the other person look bad.
Very slithery, Taco. (Did I spell that correctly? I meant the slippery and slimy motions usually associated with snakes).
Perhaps I spend a day in Amsterdam, perhaps I spend more time in Holland than you have on this earth. But, unless you're willing to continue the conversation in Dutch, you'll never know. You just assume. A lot.

I know that the tax rates are not the highest in the world by any stretch of the imagination. Life expectancy probably higher than the USA (not saying much). I don't know - what do you want to know? Lots of tulips and windmills? I'm sure that any facts I present won't effect your pre-determined ideas of the state of the world so I'm probably wasting my time.
In fact, as I said, I just can't compete with you. You can examine the dark forces of America and predict the peak of the oil price. Like Darth Vadar. Why you waste your time on the forum is beyond me. Seriously, throw me a bone - I've got some coffee futures, can you tell me when I should sell them? Dark Horse, please show me the dark side of the force (but only for the purposes of my coffee futures).

How can I make you look bad? You've solved the 9/11 conspiracy, called the peak oil price and also claim to predict fukkin' earthquakes. I'm no match for you.
Just lost a 3K bet on those 9-11 pics. No more 9-11 sh*t for me...

Why are you trying so hard to change the subject? You told me that my post about Holland was based on nonsense. And then, when I confront you about that, you can't run fast enough to change the subject to 9/11 and the stock market.
We can return to those other threads, but why the sudden interest? You weren't interested then, were you?
Is it fair to assume that when Taco feels attacked, he will then resort to his variation of character assassination? Just bring up as many topics as you possibly can, to distract from the topic at hand, and in the hope that some of it will stick? Is that what you're about Taco?
Let me know when you want to get back to Holland, but in the meantime please continue to reveal how small-minded you really are. By all means. Take your best shot, buddy.
Hint. You haven't gotten to my gambling yet. Strange oversight.

What about the point on red tape and taxes? You don't see a heck of a lot of red tape in the USA with regard to basic jobs? You said Holland had extortionate taxes when, in reality, they don't. You said that Muslims are taking over the country when they only represent about 5% of the population.

I was silly to expect any type of substance from Taco. Mea culpa. How did I forget that his understanding is as deep as a two-second search function, and that his sole reason for being is to amuse or annoy people with endless variations of the same theme?
He does have a history of running into trouble with people on this forum, who made the mistake of taking him serious. I know... But it has happened. So if you are sensitive to attacks on your person, be sure to share only your opinions in these pages and never personal information.
===============================
As far as Holland is concerned, my remarks were a response to Flying Dutchman. What Taco (sur-prise!!) failed to understand is that they were a criticism on issues current in Dutch society. Holland is at a real risk of losing its identity, being overrun by foreigners that are happy to collect the free handouts, but refuse to adjust to Dutch society. Most notably people from Turkey and Morocco. Women from Poland have come for weekend trips, by the busloads, to steal from shopping malls, because if they get caught there are no consequences other than being sent back across the border.
The Dutch values worked fine for the Dutch people. But foreigners are taking advantage to a point where Holland may already be lost. Nobody is doing anything, because it would either be a lack of (god forbid) tolerance, or could be painted by others as anti-a-certain-group.
It is true that Holland will look after the basic needs of everybody. Nobody excluded. But that comes at a price tag that goes far beyond paying 75 cents tax on the dollar (for some). The country has been flooded with people who have come there for that very reason. And the model can't be maintained.

This is the model that's being played out. And why I've been watching the Fed's every move. Long read, but worth it.
