I made the LA Sparks a 3-point favorite against Seattle, and was happy to get 2.5 points.

The game starts, and it seems I bet on the LA "Farmers" instead. In addition there is the word "Farmers" on the front, as well as the "Farmers Insurance" corporate icon. No where does it say "Sparks".

How on EARTH could I have made a blunder this big? Confusing the LA Sparks with the other LA team, the LA Farmers...

I was a lawyer for 10 years. Not some friggin wimp-ass lawyer - I was a trial lawyer. When I sued, insurance companies hated to be opposite of me. When I represented insurance companies, I sometimes pissed my boss off, because I got cases thrown out of court quickly without running up a big bill. It was a big fun game, and I was good at it... But I was making more betting sports part time than I was from law full-time. I quit the full-time practice of law 5 years ago, and never looked back.

I still bet sports for a living. I'll still sue recreationally though.
