Curry will definitely fit into Golden State's system. Ellis and Curry in the backcourt looks pretty darn small but Nellie probably doesn't mind that since defense is a non-issue.

The lack of height will def affect getting of some of those jumpers in traffic.

i think hes closer to a brandon roy. Hes a smaller guard who is a tremendous scorer. Reggie was way taller and couldnt really create his own shot like curry.

i've been saying curry is reggie miller lite for a while... those 3-4 inches of height will hurt him when it comes time to get shots off vs the exponentially bigger and quicker NBA

Pacers pick Tyler Hansbrough. I hope he pans out. He's a winner so far in life.

Curry will be another Mike Miller bust. Great college player...shitty NBA shooting guard.

    1. Stephen Curry is overrated

    2. The Knicks don't need any more shooters and why did they trade Quienton Richardson for DARKO MILIC

    3. Ricky Rubio = 2nd best in the draft

He does fire up alot of shots! He'll probablly average 20 points a game, however he'll take 25 shots a game. Better bulk up....seems too skinny for the NBA.

stephen curry is gonna be a GREAT hybrid pg/sg who scores a TON

maybe not a reggie miller, but not a bust either...

vitale predicted he will be the ROY... i wouldn't be surprised...

I totally agree with this. I think the Golden State system is the perfect fit for Curry. The Warriors might get Amare from my Suns, too. That'll be a fun team to watch.

I can't wait to get the NBA League Pass! Best value.

Stephen Curry coming to the Suns on wednesday!

We are getting Biedrins, Wright, Bellinelli and Curry for Stoudemire... Sad to see the Suns actually rebuilding but Curry is gonna be good for MANY years to come

    A few notes

many high scoring college guards do not have great NBA career (Jackson of LSU, Macon of Temple)

secondly high scoring little men like Paul does not equate team success.

SI.com says that Tyler Hans will not be a good NBA player for Indiana. Maybe a long career, but not an Impact player. The tale is that all his life he has been told he cannot excel at the next level, but he has. For the Pacer's sake, I hope he does.

According to Sportingnews Golden State and Phoenix have reached a deal to send Amare to Golden State and Phoenix will get Andris Biendrins and Stephen Curry. Other players are involved as well.

Phoenix might finally be making a good deal! Amare is good but he's had some troubling injuries these last few years.

My warriors lookin good. Curry will NOT be a bust. No one can be a bust in Nelson's system. Curry, Ellis, Jackson, Magette/Azubuike and Stoudimaire and a pretty good bench = playoffs. That is if everyone stays healthy

Hmmmmmm, Warriors should now be able to score about 130 points per game on average. To bad they will likely give up 140 to their opponents still.

LOL Yeah, that's usually how these offensive-minded teams do it.

Golden State's selection of Davidson point guard Stephen Curry at No. 7 was likely made for the Suns as part of an Amaré Stoudemire trade that can't be completed until Wednesday. That is because Phoenix would be acquiring Warriors center Andris Biedrins, a base-year compensation player, as part of a Stoudemire deal that would include more Warriors players, possibly power forward Brandan Wright and/or shooting guard Marco Belinelli. Craziest off-season in some time...this might be a good deal for the Suns.

thanks for your input, but your a jackass. Curry is a million times better ball handler and with that allows him to break down defenders and get into the lane and Reggie simply couldnt do that because he wasnt quick/fast and wasnt a great baller handler. I know a million times more than you so you can stop while your behind "Candian" lakers fan.

As a Wolves fan, I wanted Curry with the 6th pick. He would have many open jumpers getting the ball from Jefferson and Love . He will hit those shots in the NBA but he is 4 to 5 inches shorter than Reggie Miller.

Think Hansbrough would of been a great fit for a playoff team like Utah. He will be a solid role player and have a long NBA career, but he was taken way too soon in the draft.
