I was noticing earlier that the animated movie UP, is currently the #19 movie of all-time at imdb.com.

It is common for movies to start high and then sink but still. I heard it was good but #19? Wow.

As I was watching this trailer I thought. Oh I bet it was directed by the guy who did Independence Day. When I found out that this was the case, I went from being pretty stoked in seeing this to remembering al the good action shots from THAT movie were shown in the trailer as well. I bet this movie does well but nowhere near touches Transformers. Roland Emmerich's The Day After Tomorrow bombed with a similar idea and cool SFX. This movie and plot seems to fit that pattern. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.

well you're spot on with that. Cusak is not that bad. LOL. But Independance Day did really well. And well the concept? 2012 is talked about more and more each day. I predict it will beat transformers based on the 2012 title ALONE
