Default Fvck poker!

So, I finally get my 30 queer-eyed dollars tonight that I won for placing 6th in the last SBR Brokeroll. I'm very nigga-happy at this point - I sit down at a nice little cash table and I'm waiting to be dealt. I quickly glance outside and look at my JJ tree...the one with no leaves. I come back when I hear the cards being shuffled and I look at my screen and see two Big Indian Aces...nice, shiny and red! I believe it was a .25/.50 cent no limit. It's the first time I've ever played on Bodog for money so I wasn't really used to their lineup. Anyway, so I'm under the gun - there wasn't enough players after me - so I couldn't just limp in and hope for a raise. So I raise the pot to 3.50 and the BB ends up calling me. At this point I'm thinking I'm going to double up and have 60 dollars.

Flop Comes...

Ace, 7, 8

He comes out and bets like 8 bucks...I go ahead and push...and he calls...

Ace, 7, 8, 2, Jack

The guy had 9,10 of Diamonds.

These PEP boys are rubbing off their bad beats on me! JK.

Don't take the Lord's name in vain! What the hell is wrong with you?

Yeah, I am a Poker machine though. Remember I turned that 25 dollar buy-in at Pokerstars into 900...then pissed it all away! I love to lose...it feels good.

I never called any of his raises. I raised pre-flop and he called me. Then on the flop, he bet, and I re-raised all-in...and he called it.

And yes, I would've played it the exact same way.

Yeah, I am a JJ Loving machine though. Remember I blew him for 25 minutes all for buy-in at Pokerstars and turned it into over 900...then pissed it all away! I love to lose...it feels good. But more importantly, I love JJ!

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA lame, i know!!

And yeah, fukkin Riverstars man... we both go on some incredible runs there, but your bad beats really take the cake. Yet, they happen alot on there. It's almost as if they rig it for you to lose because they know you will buy in again

Yes. I had the absolute nuts on the flop - you can't have a better hand on the flop. Well, a flush, but it was a rainbow flop.

Let me clarify the theory - which is just that - a theory.

If you have a propensity to buy-in a lot...they'll give you worse beats...'cause they know you'll just buy in again.

Plus, they usually let new players win, too. That way they hook you. I remember when I first started playing there - I couldn't lose that first week. They hooked me good...

I should have JJ call Pokerstars and yell at them! The guy will ask him, "What's the Player's name..."

JJ will say, "I don't know, KingShit or something" and break my little heart.

Although I happen to think you're a patronizing prick you do make me chuckle sometimes.

Although I don't know you and have never met you, I know exactly what you're thinking.

I wouldn't mind, sometime. Haven't played at Bodog for so long would have to call for password and deposit.

KR played the hand well I believe. And the other guy played it pretty well after the flop.

Poker is a crapshoot now, so many guys play and just take chances, ect which makes the game not a skill event anymore. I a perfect world with mainly pros playing there is some type of skill too poker.

Live Poker probably requires more skill than luck and also having real chips makes it a little different than sitting behind a pc and not having to think at all

Yeah well in live poker you can actually see a player's facial expressions and have more of an idea of what they may have. Poker online doesn't even come close to live poker.

I did quit in a way. I used to buy-in a lot at Pokerstars and I haven't done that in a while.

I'm going to play in the next Brokeroll though - it was pretty fun.

He flopped top set, why wouldn't he push in say $200 on that flop. Yesterday I flopped a full house, turned quads and still lost. I had KK vs AK flop comes 333 turns 3 river a 10 so the AK wins with 3333 A Kicker

I don't win at poker stars so I don't play there but almost every other site I have a winning record with.

And yes live kicks the crap out of on line.

If you guys don't think beats happen just as frequently (in hands dealt) in live poker, you're out of your minds. The guy had 8 outs. It's not exactly a horrific beat. I've taken far worse in live poker. A few weeks ago at the MGM, I raise with AA and a guy shoves into me with AK. The flop comes 10 high, all hearts and I hold the Ah. Needless to say it comes QJ no hearts and he scoops the pot with a straight.

In the situation that King was in, I certainly would have played that differently. I would have smooth called the flop and shoved on the turn if it blanks. To each his own though...

Yeah, well the guy had like 90 dollars. I figured if he was going to stick the 8 bucks in there, he was probably going to call the 18 or so I had left. And since I had the best hand -- I just went ahead and pushed. In hindsight, yes, that would've been a better option. But who's to say he wouldn't have also bet the turn if I had just flat called on the flop? I would've certainly have pushed at that point - and he would've called being pot committed. Eh - stupid poker.

Maybe I should've raised 5 bucks instead of 3.50...who knows...although he had a suited connector...those are great to play in a cash game.
