1] Do not wager or at least bet small on the popular sports like NFL, MLB, NBA sides. As a rule of thumb the higher the limit the tougher the sport is to beat.

2] You are going to have to work at this rolling out of bed at noon reading the forum and following a few guys will not cut it. Also if you are making more than 20 posts a day your time could be spent being more productive in trying to be a winner.

3] Concentrate on the smaller leagues like international sports, womens sports, props etc. With just a little reading and research you should be able to easily hit 60%

4] Bet a reduce shops if possible and some places like bookmaker for soccer is just plain ridiculous even contemplating betting their rip off lines.

5] Bet the games early as possible. If you are correct in your research you will beat the closing number which is 90% of the battle plus it will give you an opportunity to get off a wager at minimal cost.

6] Don't bet games just to have action.

7] Exercise good bankroll management. There are no locks or bailout games. Each bet must be as if you are wagering with your own blood.

8] Most of your bets should be straight wagers. There are spots for parlays and teasers.

9] Take advantage of free payouts and avoid ** and other payouts that cost a lot.

10] Have at least four to five shops you can bet at and always bet the best number available.

With my methods, there are no bigger opportunities than the stuff Matchbook has the best liquidity on. That is basically everything rule 1 is saying to avoid.

Everything starts with Matchbook for me.

With Matchbook and a few other strategic outs, you can get very close to no juice betting on that popular stuff. That is an awfully good starting to point to making money in my experience.



My methods also differ in terms of the timing of bets. I find late better than early. Between half an hour and an hour before game time is best for the angles I use. I have tested it.

But I'm sure there are some angles where betting early is better.

#7 don't cry over lost blood on a losing streak
