    Default How I Turned $0.57 into $104.37

I think this is a cool little story here..

On Friday night I had .57 cents left in my Olympic account thats right $0.57. Most people would just let the book keep the spare change and let it sit there forever and that is basically what I was going to do. But then I decided to see if I could make something with it.

So this is what I did...

I went to play Jacks or Better where the min wager is 0.25 cents and press my luck. I don't remember exactly what happened but I do know I got my balance up to $1.07 by hitting 3 of a kind (2-2-2).. So after that I decide to try my luck with the blackjack table, with the $1.07.. I played and got my balance up to $5.07 exactly enough to make a sports wager because the min wager @ OLY is $5.. So I decide to let the $5 bucks ride.

So on Sat morn I wagered $5.07 on UCLA to make $4.61, UCLA covered so now I have $9.68 in the account.. With the $9.68 I wagered on MTSU Choptalks Sunbelt play, they covered so now my account reads $18.48. I then told myself screw it let's see if I could make a quick $10 so I went back to the Casino blackjack table and said I would play one hand of blackjack for $10, luckily I won so now I have $28.48 WHEW-HOO!!!

LOL... So Sunday comes around so I decided to put the $28 on the NY Jets cause ACE-ACE and my dad loved it, I already had $150 on them with another book but I wanted to put a little more cause my dad said this is one of his best bets of all time and had $300 on them himself which is HUGE for him so I decided to let it ride on the Jets, they covered so now I have $54.37 in the account.. So now, I decide not to bet it all and just put $45 on the Indy ML @ -450 they won so now my balance reads $64.37..

So with the $64.37 I decide to wager on the baseball game Game 2 of the World Series. I put $50 on Under at -125 to win $40.. Well the score was 3-1 and I won again!!!

    Turned $0.57 cents into $104.37

Not a life changing score but not bad nonetheless IMO.. Just thought I would share this little story with you guys. Thanks for reading...

Great work IMG. I tried to do something like this at Bowman's last year with 2 or 3 bucks I had sitting there with hockey parlays. I think I won three straight but lost it all after that. Easy come, easy go.

I scalped out from a SBR C rated book last baseball season leaving a balance of $10.48. Didnt use them again for weeks. One saturday I picked a 6team mostly dog parlay for the balance.

Yep, it hit Manager told me I wasnt fair with them and was a cheat taking a f**king shot.

I finally got the $$ after 2 weeks of endless email

Great lesson that you can have great scores/runs without risking a ton of money.

    Good ratio!

If you can do it again you'll have turned it into 19K.

Can I guess what book this was? Does the name start with the second letter of the alphabet?

I did something similar at Pitbullpoker. They gave me a free $10, and I messed with it getting it up to $100. Now I play on there when I'm drunk, for grins. I could withdraw it, but I'd have to make a deposit and play so many hands or whatever. I don't have the discipline or patience to do that right now.

Last year I also read about how Chris Ferguson turned $1 into $10k playing online poker. I figured I'd try the same thing, so I pulled everything out of my UltimateBet account except for $1. I eventually worked that up to around $125 before I got bored with it and quit. I kept careful records of this exploit, and have ALL of the hand histories in my PokerTracker database. I think it took me maybe 40 hours to accomplish this feat, so I was making little more than $3/hr. Pretty pathetic waste of time to prove a point.

    I enjoyed that one, bro.

When you're in the nursing home in about 2075, I'll bet that's one of the few of these that you'll remember.
