Default Sports Interaction Slow/Stalled Payout Issue

This is the 2nd of only 2 payouts I've ever requested with SIA, and I've been with them for nearly 3 years. The 1st payout issue, which transpired in Spring of 05, met with a considerable delay as well, and I had to go through the whole "verification" song and dance like many of the SIA posters here. That money (1600.00) WAS eventually received, albeit after a considerable delay.

It's been 2 weeks since I submitted this recent withdrawal request. After 2 days, I was notified my payout was processed (Swiftpay), and that I should be receiving the funds in my bank in 2-3 business days. I was also notifed of this by Swiftpay. A week went by, and I received nothing. All my emails during that time met with zero responses. 2 days ago, I recieved the following email:

Reference number: LT------- Please use this ticket number in any correspondence with us.
    Subject: Re: Payment Processed

    Thank you for contacting us.

I have checked your account and it appears your withdrawal was sent on October 11th in the amount of $1000. Unfortunately we experienced a technical problem in processing withdrawals and our processor will be resending all withdrawals as soon as possible. Please accept our apology, as this was beyond our control. Your patience is greatly appreciated in this matter

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

    Best regards,

    TODAY I get THIS gem:

Reference number: LT------- Please use this ticket number in any correspondence with us.
    Subject: Re: Payment Processed

    Dear -,

    Thank you for contacting us.

I apologize for the confusion this has caused everyone. Your withdrawal has not yet been reprocessed. We received notification later today that your funds will be canceled in our system and sent back to Sports Interaction. They will then reprocess the funds to your bank account. It seems that our processor is going through some technical issues at the moment. Rest assure you will get your funds.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

    Best regards,

Can I please get some assistance here as to when I may expect a payout that has gone on for now 2 weeks???? Thanks

SBR have reported on a number of Swiftpay-related issues with SIA. It seems like a case of hanging in there and being patient. If they miss the next deadline then it might be worth contacting SBR at assistance@SportsbookReview.com to update them of the situation.

I know right? What do they aim to accomplish by stalling? Do they think the person will forget about their withdrawal request or something?

Stay away from this piece of crap book unless you're desperate for some pimp ass hats.

I thought this book was starting to turn the corner for the better too. Yet another complaint again today about them.

They pay me like clockwork, but I once sicked a Dozer on them, and maybe they know I'm a "forum" player. McIrish says they read the boards.

This book is turning no "corner". It's reputation has taken a nosedive. This is unbelieveable.

SIA is certainly not an "A" rated book.

They are slow to move lines. They shade to give bargains on dogs.

While there are occasional complaints, they are much rarer when players use Neteller.

so they scam you less with neteller?...interesting...

Don't mistake this as a testimonial for SIA... but I don't know of any normal players having trouble with Neteller withdrawals. I think there was a problem a few years ago with players bonus whoring and creating multiple accounts. Most of SIA's problems come from poor CS, and its self-owned "Swiftpay" processor.

I put in a wd Sun night, didn't get it Mon, put in another one, got both today, that's happened before. They pay ( NT).

Absolutely. I've played at SIA for years, taken dozens of withdrawals, and never had a significant problem. I'm sure the fact that I've used exclusively Neteller there is relevant. I won't say I've never heard complaints from SIA customers using Neteller, but it's been extremely rare. Certainly fewer than 10% of the complaints that have hit the forums, and probably quite a bit less than that, have been from customers using Neteller. It's always Swiftpay or bank wires or something else that they screw up.

Stick to Neteller with them and your chances of having to deal with these headaches is no more than at the typical 'B' or even 'A' book.

Sorry, but the whole "I've never had a problem with them because I use Netteller" position is weak--very weak, along with irrelevant to the issue at hand. IF SIA is having issues with one of their payment processors (Swiftpay)--CONSISTENT issues that have been problematic for years, and said issues have consistently and repeatedly caused considerable delays in payouts, then the onus is on SIA to either rectify the issue immediately (I'd say this is long overdue), or remove the payment/withdrawal option from their site permanently. Since they have failed to do this, then they absorb the blame 100% for this stalled payout. Netteller, and the success with its implementation, is completely irrelevant to that.

Well, SIA is a lower book for a reason, so I find it prudent to use the method that works best there. It's really bad that Swiftpay is their invention, and unreliable.

Didn't they say 3 to 4 business days on Monday? I know they are already behind in paying you, but I would give them until tomorrow before you say they aren't paying.

SIA has some problems, but unlike other books, they actually eventually resolve any issues. Doesn't make them a good book, but does make them a book that doesn't result in loss of funds, and in this day and age that is saying something.

after reading the negative posts at sbr and other forums, i was worried about my WD from sia. i withdrew my entire balance after meeting the RO requirement (including $400 winnings) on sun using swiftpay. also, sia did not ask for any documentation!! i received swiftpay's wire transfer this morning (weds). maybe sia's reported swiftpay backlog/processing issues have been fixed and WD will no longer be a serious issue. having said that, i don't intend to redeposit until sia's report card is squeeky clean. sia's lines are not as good as others but their RO requirement at 1X is a breeze to achieve.

Money posted to my account today. First time I've had a wire into this acct so evidently it posts outside of their normal, daily update times. Thanks Josh and Justin for everything. Sorry for the negativity, but I've been down this road before with SIA.

You are right, they EVENTUALLY pay. I'd rather just find a book with less headache that's all. Thanks again.

Glad to hear the J's got your situation resolved bud.

Stick with books like Pinnacle, TheGreek, and WSEX and you should never have any slow pay type stuff happen again.

Was glad to hear it was resolved. Sports Internaction does have these issues from time to time, this one being more unique since the regular processor is no longer going to do any processing for them.

That said SIA does work with us to resolve complaints which is more than many books will.

You should have great experiences with Pinnacle and Jamaica. Enjoy.

Risk vs. reward is good there, specially for scalps.
You will always get paid if you use Neteller, thats my experience.
I dont use SIA anymore thou.

Well I have used SIA in the pasts and use them from time to time but far less frequently that I once did. I've been a loyal customer and will eventually go back to them a bit more once the situation clears up. Just way too many slow pays these days to be comfortable with them.

That being the case, I have never ever not been paid by them. Admittedly, there have been occasional slow plays but it is always with SwiftPay....but they've dropped that now. Neteller is very smooth....it gets to you on the same day.

I've had many good experiences with them and everytime I hear about these stories I cringe b/c I know that could be me but it has never happened not saying it won't but it just never has. I know when I talked with Mudcat he told me choices of where to play are all about risk/reward...we all have to make out own choices. If I play with SIA and I got burned I deserve it. I know the reputation but till that day happens I can't endorse everything I've read on here....

The best way to describe SIA is that is that it has a lot of potential but very incompetant but you will get paid one way or another.

Best thing to do is you are going to play at SIA now is two things:

    1) Keep a low balance there
    2) Deposit and withdraw via Neteller

If you don't do both of those things may not turn out well.
