That works out much better for you, JJ. It's a policy that keeps you in the lifestyle to which you've become accustomed.

I rather lose 10k betting my own stuff than following someone elses picks and winning 10K.

JJ has a sweet tooth for absolute statements.

If the mind were a balance, his would have no springs (assuming that scales have springs, that is). Put a tiny little weight on one side, and it drops down as if a ten ton truck had just been weighed.

NASA is currently working on a manner to capture the free energy of the opposing scale, as it catapults skywards.

Believe it or not, I think there is some degree of truth to this statement. Of course, I would like latter result of making 10k over losing 10k, but I'd rather follow my own process every time (an analogy in poker is where you don't mind when you miss out of a big pot by folding AJ under the gun when the flop comes KQT and you beat two sets, nor should you mind when you have somebody suck out against you for a 1 outer on the river when you did everything properly gamewise, luck is out of your control).

Bottom line, if you're capping the games properly, keep it going and hope the math eventually works itself out for you, even if every break in the world seems to be going against you.

I really would get no satisification winning 10k with someone elses picks. I would feel like a loser and feel like I did not earn it.

JJ, let's say you have five or six criteria for a game; each with their own percentages. Why not make this one of them? If anything, you may not want to bet against a 60-16 record.

I agree with everything owned said 100%. If I had hindsight and knew I would go 2-8 with my own picks or I could pay and definately go 8-2 with someone elses, obviously I'd go with someone else's. But with your own picks at least you have no one else to blame.

If you fade these guys now you will come out a winner by seasons end. It is pure stats as their percentage will come back down to around 52%.

Great job by the fellas and I am very proud. But let's be realistic and realize the sample size is only 16 plays. Not taking anything away from them please don't think that..

    Keep it up fellas!!!

If I ever find a book that stops updating their lines after Tuesday of each week, I'll know where to turn for razor sharp picks.

JJ so your'e saying the winner of this contest will be around 52%?

52% is too easy when you've got 4 days advantage knowing someone might get injured, arrested, suspended or shagged before game time and not having the line move at all.
